Hi,
I just picked up the game and I'm looking for a good character manager that I can use with the steam version of the game. I'm just looking for something I can use to manage several character. I had something like that in Oblivion where you could save diferent characters to separate folders and load what ever character you wanted to play.
Anyone care to make a recommendation? I'm on XP using the steam version of NWN2
Thanks in advance :]
Are there any good Character managers available for NWN2?

What exactly are you after? The game as-is lets you save as many characters as you likeand load them into new games when you want (in fact, it saves your character whenever you create one), though I don't know of any way you can organise them and still see them in-game. If you mean can you load a new/different character into an existing game, I don't think that's possible.
Sorry, I'm not really familiar with Oblivion ;-)

Thank you for the welcome :]
What I'm looking for is just a means to organize the characters. The one I used in Oblivion would let me choose the character I was going to play, then launch the game.
I suppose what I'm looking for is sort of like a save game manager, it would let me keep the different characters seperated, so it's easier keep track of them and you don't accidentally overwrite one of your saves
I hope that makes sense

I don't *think* there is any way to organise saved games other than by name and still be able to play them, though it *might* be possible to launch a specific saved game with a command line argument to the game, in which case it might also be possible to make some sort of external interface which could launch your games for you... someone more knowledgable than me would have to answer this one, though.
Personally I would just prefix the saved game's name with, say, the name of the character or something.

Woohoo! Thanks! It would be good to see more folks pointing to that thread so that new players can see there is a lot more than just the OC etc. to play.
At the OP: In-game, all of your characters and all of your saved games are shown in a list. You don't need seperate folders to be able to access these things in game. You just choose from a list in game.
However, saved games are for the character that you saved them for. So you cannot load a saved game and choose a different character. You can olny choose a character for a new game.

Thanks for your replies guys, I guess I'll just go with what the game does automatically and just make save prefixed with the character name. Thanks again :]

I generally make a save with the main character name and then the specific game initials such as OC, MotB, SoZ or MoW.
