EADM should work for you.  I'm getting pissed cause I can't search my posts and thus can't find where I talked about this in more detail before, but if you continue to get the misconfiguration error with eadm installed the try this:

Navigate to the Dragon Age Install Directory\\bin_ship

Open this file:
EACore_App.ini

Delete everything in it and then save. 

Sorry to post it late but that might have fixed the problem before as well.

That's why I never trust Digital Distribution for anything. Something always seems to go wrong. Sorry about your luck and I hope that this EADM thingy works for you.

Next time, just do what I do. I but the game at gamestop, put it in my computer, make an ISO out of it, mount it with PowerIso, install the game and then finally put the game back in the case and up on my shelf to never be touched again. The only reason I do this is because I'm horrible with fragile things and always seem to break them.
