I've hunted around looking for people with the same problem before posting, and I unfortunately haven't been able to finid them (If someone has, please point me in the right direction).

I've tried loading several mods (environment texture and ChargenRevamp to start). They both say  they should play nice, and they're in the appropriate folder, the one in Documents/Bioware/ rest of the filepath/override. I've started a new game four times, and each time the Revamped mod doesn't pick up (noted due to the lack of being unable to select Male Hawke's default hair) . I've loaded the game I'm a good chunk through hoping to bump up the texture res seeing as I have a large, high-res monitor, and it hasn't bumped up.

Can some one help me out here? I'm not new to modding, I've messed around plenty with other works by Bioware and other games in general. I can't help but think I'm missing something tiny and simple for DA2.

Most mods should be in the (My) Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override folder. If they are anywhere else the game won't see them.

Sorry, I missed the my the first time. They are in the correct folder, I promise.

Do they all have to be in one 'patch' folder or something?

You can also try putting them in your Program Files\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override folder. You will have to make the folder yourself though. I do this because I like to utilize my solid state drive as opposed to forcing my main hard drive to spin.

I got it - for whatever reason leaving them in their respective folders was not working. It looks messy as all the files are now simply sitting in the override, but it works, so I'll take it.

That's interesting... Makes me wonder why that conflicted.
