So far I have the hilt and pommel...and through the magic of 'tab', im fairly certain there isnt anything else...at least in the dead roads.  Anyways, was curious what the point of it was.  It says there they are of an elven make, but there was no one in the dalish camp who triggered anything about the sword...so what is the next step?/did i miss something? (keep spoilage to a minimum please...)

you are still missing the blade. It is carried by a darkspawn in the Dead Trenches after you get it the quest will update.

Yea, it drops off the "Ancient Darkspawn" orange in the Dead Trenches
