I'm relatively new to ME and ME2, but have enjoyed both immensely. Up to about 20 minutes ago. I realized I chose the wrong Mission Specialist when Garrus died closing the door. I had already saved over all the saves I cycle through, so didn't have any saves from before I hit the Omega 4 relay. I wanted to get the Achievement for not losing any team members, so my only option was to restart mission.
Wrong.
It only goes back to after you've chosen the Specialist and the Fire Team leader, and won't let you change that or go back. So, there's no way for me to get that achievement without replaying the entire game. It took me forever to get to this point.
Any advice, or am I just out of luck?

You could edit your save file, but you will have to move it to a PC.
Here is the thread, regarding what you have to do, and I recommend you register your ME2 copy.
I had lost teammates my first run also and also did not have a save prior to that point, so I know how you feel.
