In DAO, we can virtually make everyone leave (except Dog once u recruited) and a chance to kill everyone (except Morrigan/Orghen/Dog and Sten(?)).
So how about this game (besides the obvious Anders)? I know we can hand over Fenris to his master and Isabella might run off, but what about Aveline, Varric, Merrill and Sebastian? Possible to kill them or forced them to leave?
Which companions can you kill/make them leave

Varric and Isabela are the only ones that are immune to death as far as I know.
Varric is also the only one that never leaves, he'll always side with you at the end.

Sebastian also survives no matter what. He can leave but you can't kill him.

Sebastian will leave if you let Anders live. I'm pretty sure Aveline, Varric, and Merrill will stay with you no matter what so that you can have a full party.

Aveline and Merrill can leave, I know that.
Aveline will stay if Fenris leaves, most likely, or else she'll leave if you have too low rivalry/friendship. Merrill will leave with too low rivalry/friendship if you side with the Templars.

I killed Fenris in 1 playthrough and Merril in one. (At the ending obviously)

I think it would be cool if you became a loner like you did in DAO
