If there ever is a toolset released for DA2, you'll have your wish. Perhaps http://dragonagenexus.com has something there already. Dunno.

The lack of a toolset is a problem right now. You can see how ME2's modding scene never went anywhere.

You can't really blame them for not providing a toolset for ME2 since it was made with the licensed Unreal 3 engine, so Bioware wouldn't be allowed to provide it. 

That said, yeah the lack of a toolset will slow modding considerably.  A long hair mod does seem reasonable at this point though since most of the mods I've seen so far tend to be tweaks to faces and such but I can't claim to know what goes into those tweaks.  And yes, I'd like long hair in DA3.  There is one hairdo already that would work for me if it didn't have a braid in it.

Speaking of hair, how about some more short ones for females?
As it is now, it's either the one in my avatar <-----, skin-head or bald. The new bob in DA2 were ok but still kinda, um girly. Why can't we have a nice short spikey one like the guys get?
Personal preference I know but it'd be nice

Edit: Toolset is great for those that can use it, but some of us don't have the option;)

Besides, it's not like you'd HAVE TO give your character long hair - it'd just be an option. So yeah, I support longer hair for DA3 (and other future BW games).

This is why PCs are awesome. Grab the mod that unlocks the hair for everyone. Guys can get girl hair, girls can get guy hair. ...and guys can get makeup, if that's what you're into.

I'd like the ability to have longer hairstyles for both males and females. And I do mean long: waist-length, if possible. The argument is always that there would be clipping, but there are clipping issues anyway, so short hairstyles would not have helped.

If folks are concerned about the manliness of their long-haired characters, hair length is irrelevent. A sexy man will be sexy whether his hair is long, short, or absent. So don't blame the hair.

If I want hair down to my arse crack, by jove they better gimme it. I would greatly enjoy the game more running through it as cousin IT from the adams family.

I'd like to see different hair styles for ME3 both for male and female. The standard female hair styles suck. I'd like to see something along the lines like what was provided with DA2's hair styles. Those were pretty good.

I am not a big fan of long hair on males.
