For your record, I am the CHAMPION! Not your servant/executor even though u did mentioned you are some sort of Prince or something.

So if you want to kill Anders, please go ahead and do it right there! He was just standing there and as far as I'm concerned, did not make any attempts to defend himself (aka summoning Justice). You can just shoot him with your grandfather's bow that I have KINDLY brought to you a few years ago. Please note that I wouldn't try to save him (then) because I know that he killed someone that is close to you like a grandmother.

So DO NOT threaten to tell me you are going to bring on your whole army (on me and Kirkwall) just because I decided not to kill him myself. I do not take kindly to threats. I was so pissed that I kept him just to see if you are really going to wage a war on us. If so, you are just a selfish ****** whose intent might be to wage a war on Kirkwall all along. You just needed an excuse (a poor one at that). Therefore, if I should ever find you stepping foot in Kirkwall again, I swear to the Maker that if I have to cast Firestorm on the whole city just to see you and your stupid belt engulfing in flames, I WILL DO IT!

Please pray to the Maker and Andraste that will not happen. May the Maker have mercy on your soul. Thank you.

Yours Sincerely
Champion Hawke

Too true. On a related note, I do love the party banter where Anders is all, "Is that Andraste's face on your crotch?" It's a dubious belt buckle, to be sure.

They should've implented the option when you're playing a mage to just brutally kill him on the spot.

But no.

So if Sebastian had offered treats instead of threats, would you have written this post?

Ah, agreed, so much. He assumes that if you don't kill him yourself you'll defend Anders if he tries. Pft.

I was disappointed that we couldn't even argue with him that Anders should live and work to pay off for his crime rather than turning him into a martyr for the mage cause. He'd be free to dismiss it out of hand after that though.

I fully expected Sebastian to shoot Anders in the back no matter what I said but instead he chose to threaten Hawke for not doing what he demanded, then took his ball and ran off. He could have at least challenged him to a duel or physically dragged Anders off to the first court he could find.

I re-loaded to try the conversation again and was horrified to see Hawke literally stab Anders in the back because that's just not the kind of character I had played her to be. Allowing Anders to leave seemed to be the only way to tell both men to get stuffed but it rankled with me that it meant giving him his freedom.

Pft, Sebastian won't raise an army. He'll post a note to the Starkhaven chanters board saying "Wanted: someone to raise an army to take on Kirkwall". Then he'll go sulk in the Chantry until somebody answers it.

PS: Well, Grand Cleric Elthina was right about one thing. You're fickle. You made a solemn vow to the chantry as a young man, you recanted it to pursue vengeance with the Harimans, you made another after Faith in Act 3, and now, you're forsaking it utterly so you can go off and raise an army to serve your own desires. Good luck with that.

Am I the only one who wanted Isabella to bonk Sebastian? I mean, he's a nice guy. If she can get to him, maybe we can save him from the Chantry.

My personal theory is that Hepler poured all of herself into writing Anders, that's why Sebastian is so dull and annoying. Otherwise I can't wrap myself around how one person can write a complex and compelling character like Anders AND a two-dimentional, to quote Merrill, stale dry biscuit of a character like Sebastian.

So yeah.
>_>
<_<
Sorry for the rant. But I just was SO looking forward to him. And meh.

Nuts to Isabela, *I* could do that! But flirting with him his like almost... almost.. ALMOST.. BLOCKED!

I don't think Sebastian's that bad to be honest, but I figure ripping him out of the game to shill as DLC probably affected options for his development.
