[Fiery Phoenix]

This is it. Arrival is less than 24 hours away. I figure it was time to start one official thread for impressions and discussions on it, with the assumption that anyone who posts in this thread has completed Arrival, as the thread will be littered with spoilers in a day's time.

A couple of things to note:

• Depending on the platform on which you play, it may take a while before Arrival is up and ready for you to download. Typically, Xbox 360 users are the first to download and play DLC, as Microsoft tends to submit DLC very early on the day of release. However, the difference is usually no longer than five to eight hours (tops).
• For personal reasons, I won't be able to play Arrival until April 5th, which means I won't be on the forums until then. I will just leave this thread for you all to discuss until I'm ready to join the party.

Also, to copy-paste one of my posts below:

An additional note for 360 users:

You can use this page to be on the look for Arrival. This is because DLC does not immediately upload to the Xbox dashboard, so instead of waiting on the dashboard, you can simply keep refreshing that page until you see Arrival on the top of the list, at which point you hit Download to Xbox 360 and confirm your gamertag to pay and purchase the pack. After that, fire up your console and you will be automatically prompted to download Arrival as soon as you sign in.

You could of course wait until it's up on the dashboard and just download it straight from there, but this is a faster way of doing this, since Microsoft uploads to the main database at Xbox.com first.

Having said that, I hope you all enjoy Arrival. I'm sure it's going to rock and I can't wait until I can get my hands on it!

According to the Arrival event on Facebook, the DLC will hit at 9:00 am. I have no idea what to make of this, but I seem to recall LOTSB being released at about the same time for multiple timezones, so I'm guessing it won't be too different for Arrival.

As for avoiding the forums, it's really just my luck for this to coincide with my midterms, among other things. In any event, I can wait for one more week.

I'm not sure exactly where I am in Overlord. I just finished using the Hammerhead, I think.
