All i'm hearing is, "This game doesn't adhere to scientific principles! HERESY! SCIENCE IS THE LAW!"

This is why we can't have nice things.

I'll laugh if we meet an alien race that hears all of our Scientific "laws" and they just look at us like we are retarded and go "No, no, and hell no, are you all ****ing stupid?"

Scifi is about going along for the ride on the crazy train you kill joys.

Anyways is the base destruction or save, referenced, or your relationship with Cerberus?

I can totally see Shepard allowing him/herself arrested knowing Reapers will arrive anytime, when all s/he has to do is wait in keep a low profile/gather not Council aligned allies until that moment. Once the Reapers are here Shepard should have no further problems from anyone else.

I really hope we don´t repeat the ME2 issue of fighting mostly mercs rather than Collectors but with Batarians this time.

Why are all the crew on Illium though?

The funny thing about this one is that considering Reapers are about 2km long, this one must be kilometers away.

All that scene seems to do is symbolise everyones death if you fail.

I think your over-analysing it

Holy sh*t Grunt looks huge in that pic. Or it's his actual size and ME2 got him small.

People are really going to think Shepard is a terrorist/madman when he claims he destroyed a system full of people to stop "reapers".

Not when Reapers appear and start slaughtering billions.

He might be in jail before that happens.

With what evidence? Even Hackett states that there's little to no evidence against Shepard. It will be months before a Batarian investigation even comes up with that conclusion. If they even can. And by the sounds of it, they would likely try to subject him to a trial after the Reaper invasion. At this point the galaxy will likely be worshipping Shepard for his efforts.

True but lets take Alpha Centauri as an example, if it went nova today how much damage would Earth recieve.

The radiation would kill us all, but Earth wouldn't explode or anything.

Only slightly reliable source, but I've heard similar things in all the damn astronomy documentaries I watch.  Nerd alert!

Nice source Cheese and while I agree that its nowhere near 100% reliable it also mentions the 100 LY blast radius so if we work on the assumption that its somewhere within that margin.  The question is, if the Relay was at say 99 LY distance from the Nova, would it still have been moved?

I enjoyed the DLC, but i think i would have felt more satisfied had it ended with Shepard actually en-route to his trial. As it is, i had a chat with Adm. Hackett and then fed my fish, which isn't much of a build up for ME3. The mission should have only been playable after finishing the rest of the game, and afterwhich you can no longer play using that save file.

The module did seem very sterile; i certainly didn't feel much of an emotional attachment to what was going on. There was a big countdown, but i don't think the gravity of the situation was conveyed especially well.

It played great, but the atmosphere was lacking.

The irony is the people complaining don't know what they are talking about. There are some completely farcical concepts in Mass Effect - FTL, mass effect fields, quantum communicators -- that no one complains about, but they pitch fits over things they claim are impossible, but are actually plausible.

Hell, I do that all the time, the thing is I only do it to things that draw my attention.  The fact that this issue drew my attention means (to me) that perhaps it could have been told better?

I just beat it. Took me about an hour on Casual, but that's what you get when you play on Casual. More interested in story than combat and all that jazz.

For 560 MSP, this is about as good as it's ever going to get.

I was glad to finally see Hackett in person; dude looks like he could give the Terminator a run for his money. Serious player; looking forward to seeing him in action in ME3. The story was, admittedly, fairly predictable; but since I cut my teeth on Reaper indoctrination all the way back in ME1, I guess there's little BioWare could have done to not make me see that one coming.

The ending was somewhat less predictable, which was very welcome. Piling problems on top of Shepard's already Reaper-filled plate seems like a good way to increase the player's options and potential activities in ME3, and with Treason in mind I can't wait to see how BioWare's going to handle Shepard getting court-marshalled.

Good stuff all around; well done, BioWare.

?!?!!??

Real, but it's timer zero end. Shepard dead and Invasion of the Reapers begins. Anderson, TIM and squad die.

Don't know, man--that requires some physics I don't know how to do.  However, a distance of only a few thousand or even a million miles (small cookies in space) could be enough for gravity to start putzing with it and suddenly that puppy's no longer orbiting its parent star.
