This video isn't fake because it's in everybodys game files, although I havent tried letting the countdown reach total 0.

All i'm hearing is, "This game doesn't adhere to scientific principles! HERESY! SCIENCE IS THE LAW!"
This is why we can't have nice things.

People are really going to think Shepard is a terrorist/madman when he claims he destroyed a system full of people to stop "reapers".
Not when Reapers appear and start slaughtering billions.
He might be in jail before that happens.

All that scene seems to do is symbolise everyones death if you fail.
I think your over-analysing it.
Wow, so it's true. Damn ;pSyokhan wrote...

I just let hit 0 (ugh at having to wait 28 minutes for that), and the video played. And then...
"Critical Mission Failure" dun dun dun.

True but lets take Alpha Centauri as an example, if it went nova today how much damage would Earth recieve.
Only slightly reliable source, but I've heard similar things in all the damn astronomy documentaries I watch. Nerd alert!

The irony is the people complaining don't know what they are talking about. There are some completely farcical concepts in Mass Effect - FTL, mass effect fields, quantum communicators -- that no one complains about, but they pitch fits over things they claim are impossible, but are actually plausible.Arcian wrote...

Skip to 20 seconds to see Reaper invasion when Shepard fails to destroy the Relay.

So can someone tell me if this 10 second video is real or fake?
?!?!!??
Don't know, man--that requires some physics I don't know how to do. However, a distance of only a few thousand or even a million miles (small cookies in space) could be enough for gravity to start putzing with it and suddenly that puppy's no longer orbiting its parent star.Dave666 wrote...
Nice source Cheese and while I agree that its nowhere near 100% reliable it also mentions the 100 LY blast radius so if we work on the assumption that its somewhere within that margin. The question is, if the Relay was at say 99 LY distance from the Nova, would it still have been moved?
