[*]The Charge bug made this mission a nigh unplayable nightmare. There were numerous moments where Shepard would simply disregard a perfectly plausible Charge with the infamous "I can't do that" or the power would not active.

Other biotics also didnt work.Very often mercs just get blue when getting hit by a pull and could be warbbombed, but not crowdcontrolled.

I may add two more things.
The first is the obvious plot incosistency, I'm sure it was added already, so I'm here to reinforce it as well.
The Mu Relay went dark when a nearby star went supernova, but it wasn't damaged. The Alpha Relay blows to pieces by a tiny little rock colliding with it. I see, story and gameplay over lore, sure, but it simply does not fit the knowledge we have about the mass relays. It's like the qunari suddenly growing horns and... aww, wait a bit!
I appreciated the context regardless, the setting made me feel ME1-ish again to the level where I began the adventures on yet another new character.
'Tis a decent DLC, it would be even "great" if it was longer and if we had any decisions to make.

I was watching the ending of The Arrival and really enjoyed the ending track, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It's the track that plays as the asteroid hits the Alpha Relay and Shepard's watching the progression of the shockwave. I looked around YouTube and DeinonychusZ‬‏'s videos but couldn't find it.

I thought it did a great job of reflecting the requirement of sacrifice and sadness of Shepard's decisions, and that he/she will feel the burden of guilt and pressure in ME3.

I enjoy playlisting such tracks as tokens of the game atmospheres long past I've actually played them, so I'd appreciate if anyone knew off the top of the head where it was.

This is not a plot incosistancy......
It just basic physics plus mass effect science. Think of  a super nova like anuclear explotion. The closer and more exposed you arethe more you'll burn up. The relay was not only far away  from the blast but it own ME feilds protected it,plus the blast was not consenrated. Even a concentated blast may have no effect if it's hit at the wrong place.
Now with the asteroid, it's a consenrated blow. Consenrated blows damage more. An  explotion on an armored car may do nothing but take a blow torch to it and you can cut wholes into it like cheese. Same consept with the relay.

Reapers and especially
Harbringer seem to be pretty interested in Shep. I believe it's simply
because Harbringer has a crush on Shep :P
And could you imagine a chat Harby and Kenson would have after the "arrival"?
Kenson: Namaste oh Great Reapers. Here is Shepard you were looking for
Harby: Why, thank you. *loads Shep on board* Now as to your reward : IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR
Kenson: Dies Horribly
Harby: *turns to other Reapers* See, I told you that bastard was real...
Reaper Council: Yeah, yeah... Okay....

Made me lmao:O

What's all this talk of a trial? My Shepard is still a Spectre. He doesn't answer to anyone but the Council.

At the end, Shepard more or less agrees to stand before a Alliance court for his/her actions in this DLC.  Paragon Shep is generally eager to take a stand in court and defend his/her actions while renegade Shep seems glad for the delay in the trial that Hackett offers while we complete the overall mission of stopping the Reapers.

Either way, Shep says (s)he'll stand trial when the mission is complete but why put someone who saved the galaxy through a trial which leads me to believe the trial happens before the Reaoers arrive.

Because from what we have seen throught ME2, most of the people don't believe the Reapers exist.

I guess it depends on whether Shep goes to trial in an Alliance court or a Council court.  Councilman/Captain Anderson and Admiral Hackett are definitely on Sheps side regarding the Reapers thus an Alliance trial would be a show trial in Sheps favor at best I think.  A  trial in a Council court (turian, asari, salarian and human) would be to Shepard's disadvantage as 3 of the 4 openly dismiss Shepards claims about the Reapers.

Given the turian dreadnought building expansion I wonder if they secretly acknowledge the Reaper threat however.

actualy it is 2 of 4 the asari councilor is jut being prgmatic not saying ,"oh yes the reapers" but ,also not dismising them outhright in ME2 at least it looked like that to me.

Kind of sad that it's just the same cinematic as the one when you escape, but at least they thought of it ^^
Anyhow, sorry if this has been posted already, i was reading til page 21 when I suddenly found this one in another forum:

It's a slomo version of the bad ending video (I also extracted all the frames into JPGs if someones interested ?) and there are some things confusing so I would appreciate any input:

At the beginning you clearly see what would have happend if you wouldn't destroy the relay (Reapers going to pass through it).

A few seconds later you see Harbinger and some laser beams (coming to
that in a sec) followed by a still image showing a gigantic explosion
(0:18): What could that be ?

Can't figure it out right now.

Another thing starts at 0:56 what looks like Harbinger hovering inside the Citadel (TIM standing in front of him).

Later in the video you see a lot of your people on Illium but I think this one is in the Citadel.

Anyways, a few seconds from the beginning it seems like Harbinger is
firing off a weapon (huge laser beams), but could it be that he wasn't
firing but actually hit ? Following the video it looks like he is waving
around his tentacles like he was hit.

And now comes the big part: Beginning at 1:14, it looks like he is floating around and finally exploding.

Then again you see your people in front of him on Illium.

Jesus I could think about this video all day ^^

So, what do you think ?

€dit: By the way: Was it just or did someone else almost crapped himself when Kenson looked at you with her glowing eyes (like the collector general) after being knocked down by Object Rho ? xD

yea man who cares about all that **** this is MMMAAAASSSSS EFFFEEECCCTTTTTT, hello the year is 2085 or around there, not 1968, thanks god. BTW my father is cuban so i know all that crap about comunism, but all that is in the past get over it. Now serious stuff LOL I played the arrival Insanity and it is just that INSANITY, also this should have a requirement for you to finish the collector base mission first, otherwise it will break the plot. I feel this dlc was rushed to get more money, they could have done a better job with it, I was expecting something great after LotSB best DCL ever

I agree and this is my main problem with Arrival.   THIS should have been what ME2 was about, NOT the Collectors and going through the Omega 4 Relay.   In fact the entire Suicide Mission seems very stupid now when you consider the events of The Arrival.  After Arrival you almost have to ask was the suicide mission even necessary?  Sure what was going on the in the Terminus was worth investigating and even stopping, but the Collectors didn't represent the same threat as the Reaper Armada coming through a Mass Relay.

In ME2 you basically have Shepard playing Dr Phil with his squad mates until the Reaper IFF is located and retrieved. That is simply what ME2 was about until we make the blind run into the galactic core, when it should have been about this mission.  It just seems now like it was all for nothing.  The Arrival makes me feel like I've been chumped.
