when she tries to stop you from fleeing with queen Anora, do you not get to play Fort Drakon?

She's obviously overpowered ridiculously, so the devs are playing the old "You're getting captured and there's nothing you can do about it" card, but she's still fairly beatable. But if by beating her I miss out on a whole section, then ugh. :|

Anyone know?

you miss out on the jailbreak section. not needed but depending on who you pick to rescue it can be entertaining.

Of course you should missout on the whole "being captured" part of the game if you escape your capturers.

some of the conversation from the jail break are quite funny depending on who you pick to rescue you. I choose Morrigan and Wynne but I could imagine Stein/Orgrhen being way better depending on the context the developers picked. I have no idea if the "break out plan" various depending on who you pick either.

If you have a two handed warrior in your party get the sword, if not get captured.

It was a little amusing. I chose Morrigan and Zevran for their combined persuasive abilities. And it turned out that indeed, when chosen correctly, they can go through everything. Next time I am so going for that option where Morrigan is forced to be a Chantry Sister, though.

Oghren/Sten or Oghren/Zevran is freaking hilarious.  Leliana/Dog is worth a chuckle or two as well.  I must have spent an hour and a half reloading just to see the different character combinations.

Doesn't really matter, because you get another chance at that sword before the landsmeet actually start.

And if your like me, where you have most of the side quests done, there's not much left to do between the first encounter with Cauthrien and the 2nd.

Point is, if you really want that sword, don't worry you'll have a 2nd chance at it very soon.

Seems it's a shame I actually decided to break out myself the first time around instead of waiting for help :P

I almost wish I hadn't killed her now. Could you send Shale and Dog to rescue you?

I'll have to consider sending people to rescue me next time. When i did it the first time around it was me and alistair there together, and we're almost an invicible team, and we barely even had to fight anybody! lol.

Ah damn, I missed both chances at her sword >< Thankfully I never fielded 2 handed warriors anyway, but damn she had a sweet looking sword.
