Cassandra states at the end of DA2 that the champion is gone just like the warden. So where is the warden where is the Champion. Post your theories are they off defending Thedas from some unknown danger are they hunting down the warden son, who bare in mind at the end of DA2 will be in his teens. (I think in Witch Hunt Morrigan said the child was around 3-6 correct me if I am wrong)

I have my own theory I believe shortly after the events of DA2 The Champion dropped his romance companion and he and the warden are now on some sunny island taking in the rays catching some Zzzs! and spending some much needed ALONE time together. Their forbidden love will begin in DA3 will the world allow their passion to grow? Find out in 2012. Remember Heroes need love to... Posted Image

I can't see this happening, because of how many people would be angry that 'their warden didn't sound or act like that!'
Personally I could see it happening with Hawke, however :D

Warden could be gone if he went through the mirror with Morrigan. And not many witnesses to that so maybe nobody knew he left with her to wherever. Maybe making more babies.

As for the champion, well the story quality was subpar compared to DAO that the seeker probably doesn't feel it's worth the effort to find Hawke.

Runs around just for coin as the Seeker puts it. Probably thinks Hawke is nothing more than a glorified merc.

I can see Hawke making an appearance, they might just make the male preset hawke the canon hawke or something. They might as well, people have imported save games where leiliana and zevran were killed by the PC and they still showed up in DA2. I think that the devs probably care about their story first and not every other persons possible outcomes.

The warden is either missing or dead. if dead, then it is probobly the orlesian warden. The morrrigan mirror thing is not worked in to the stroy because not everyone played the dlc

My male Warden was stupid enough to go through the mirror with Morrigan, so that evil witch has probably gutted him and bled him dry for some blood magic ritual and fed his flesh to the god-baby. My male Champion was stupid enough to go with Merrill and she gutted him and bled him dry for some blood magic ritual and fed his flesh to the god-baby. My female Warden and female Champion are sharing adventures and nights of endless passion with a certain Antivan Crowe.

I think that the seekers will find whoever you choose to play hawke or the warden and ask you for help in stopping the mage/templar rebellion and impending war between ferelden and orliasian thats when your story will begin i for one loved both DAO and DA2 so to beable to pick either the warden or hawke to play again would defently get my attention and vote.

Well Bioware is doing a certain theme of destruction and chaos where your actions lead up to a possible Dragon age 3 or dlc where the chantry has fallen and the people need a hero i think hawke will go to orlais, becasue a lot of things are pointing to that for a dlc or new game and trying to set everything into balence.

How do you get the warden to go through the mirror? I tried cause I thought it would be a nice ending for the warden reunited with Morrigan and they both step into the unknown for their child, but I just got Morrigan tellign me to leave... SO I just stabbed her! Well you win some you lose some... No seriously how do you get the warden through the eluvian?

@ GalacticTHOR -- I fathered her child, took her with me to fight the archdemon, had her approval around 100%, and I still had the ring she gave me in the first game, and when she said I'd never understand what she's trying to do, I said something to the effect of "That's because you've never allowed me to find out!" and then she gets all misty eyed and I kept being nicer to her than she deserved. So my male Warden, who married the queen, had a bard mistress after breaking up with Morrigan (she told me to), got to go to the Black City with Morrigan where she (I'm sure) immediately betrayed me and performed some evil dark ritual on my dead body.

@ Abispa -- Your not the biggest fan of Morrigan are you? How can you not like her she is a big cuddly bear, you know if the bear repeatidly punched you when you tried to cuddle it... She doesn't know how to love, it's the wardens job to show her, forget the blight the warden most important mission is getting the heartless witch to love... :) My serious theory for DA3 is Flemeth, for having such a large role in the trailers she didn't have much to do in the game, and she basically said she had to stop Morrigan, in DA3 will Flemeth go chasing after Morrigan or maybe the child???

BioWare is making the perfect approach to answer the call for companion customization!

Our party will include Hawke, the Warden, and two other heroes that we'll get to play at some point! We'll open up the character creator and get to design what each person looks like, mimicking our previous characters' appearances or creating a new look if we so choose. That, or the other two party members are Cassandra and Leliana, but we still get Hawke and the Warden.

(P.S. Obviously joking, although the idea of opening up the CC for all of my characters isn't personally off-putting.)

The way it ended reminded me of the ending of KOTOR 2, I imagine that was intentional. It seems they want to do the KOTOR 3 storyline that they never got to do for the actual KOTOR series, and as a fan of that series, as well as the DA series, I think its a great idea. The main characters from the first two are gone, out there together somewhere fighting a mysterious evil opponent, one that will only be revealed in the 3rd episode. I cant wait to see how it all plays out!
