The CC bugs are now showing up & attacking 2 of my characters, both dwarf commoner rogues. The character is saved, then uploaded. The character looks correct on the site, yet if ya look at the character in the CC again, the settings for the Tattoo, Background, & Expression won't quit defaulting back to the wrong slider settings.

It's lookin like the CC is malfunctioning at saving the Tattoo, Background, & Expression settings. (Dunno about the voice type, it's impossible for me to diagnose this, since ya can go back to the voice selection screen & the current selection is not highlighted, so I can't tell if it saves correctly or not.)

I made & uploaded these screenshots for this thread in the hope that they aid your bug squashing. In exchange, I got some screenshot & special puder command practice.

Note: I took some of the screenshots as I was repairing the characters. It was from trying to repair the characters, only for the sliders to keep screwing up no matter how many times I fixed it & resaved them that I realized this was a real bug problem, not just the saving screwing up.

As of Nov. 17, I've also noticed that I can login to the CC, tweak my characters, & save them, but can no longer get a connection to this server to Upload Info from the CC to here. There was a thread petitioning for this feature (to deny CC character update to the non-registered to attack piracy, though it seems to have friendly fired me) if I remember correctly. Did they get their way?

I'm no friend of Pirates or Hackers, but i'm still gonna be bummed if i've been hit by friendly fire.

New development. I tweaked my female human noble today & her tattoo was okay, but her Background Slider is now also malfunctioning & resetting itself as well, though I can't tell if the Expression Slider is too or not because she is already using the default slider as her option already. Once again, I was able to save the changes, but Upload Info once again failed. After the Upload fails, it says it times out, yet won't disengage the upload attempt unless I Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Sometimes the Task Manager comes up & I can force shut off the CC, sometimes the reset code fails & my computer hangs/freezes from the failed Upload attempt, forcing me to turn the computer off & back on. Everytime I have to turn the puder off & on, I have to re-login to the Social Site again.

A new problem happened this last time I had to relogin as well, my McAfee protection somehow compromised & it's having to reinstall itself to self-repair. I'm concerned about if the CC caused it.

Woohoo! I tweaked my female human noble again & a Update Info got through! I'm not locked out of it!



Also forgot to mention in the last post that my female human noble is a warrior, in case it matters.

Progress update: Sucessful Update Info on my male dwarf noble warrior as well, but failed Update info on my male dwarf commoner rogue.

Sorry man, that's some odd issues there. Unfortunately I've never installed or used the CC. Does it have more options that can be had in game? If not I'd question the reason for having it installed after you have the game. ( especially given it's inherent problems )
You may get more help in the CC discussion forum perhaps?

I downloaded the CC when it came out, & am still using it because I am not yet able to go get the game because i'm trying to use my Xmas & Birthday budget from my family to upgrade my puder 1st cause my current one flunked the Windows 7 Compatibility Test.  So i'm using the CC to make & tweak my characters in preparation for when I can get the game eventually.

I'm finding myself wondering if the seperate CC support is discontinued though.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I already buggered up & had this in the Off Topic Forum 1st. Then a forumite re-directed me here. I figured the CC Discussion Forum was for stuff like Character building advice & such, not technical issues. Did I bugger up again?
