For me, it was love at first sight with Morrigan and with each flattering rejection, ignorant to the love I gave her, it only made me want to persue it more. WH held a brilliant ending for my Warden. Happily ever after jobby.

As for Shale, if you talk to the innkeeper in the Hanged Man he will indeed mention that the pigeon population has taken a nose dive in Feralden. I wonder why...

Still hoping for a crossover between the Warden and Hawke, but I realize how ridiculous that would be to implement. Would be awesome though.

It is only difficult to impliment if imported saves make it so.  We have been given no reason to beleive that importing a save does anything other than make you feel like your choices in teh other game have consequences.

Noticed it in my videos indeed, Morrigan doesn't surprise me at all really. I am pretty certain the "Old God Baby" is going to be a sort of.. forced canon anyway. Just seems too much to pass on. As for Shale, well I guess that's just an easter egg mostly.

You will know from teh intro scene how epic DA3 is going to be when OGB rolls up in a 64 Impala blaring a phat bass line.

OGB doesn't have "companions", rather he has a posse. I can see the pre-launch trailer now.

.....In a world....torn by war, one man/woman/baby has what it takes to set things straight.

Starring OHHHHHHHHH GEEEEEEEE BEEEEEE as The Answer (voiced by alan iverson....regardless of gender).

He's got Hoes fo days......a fly ride.....and a penchant for buggery.

Watch out Thedas....you bout ot get turned out!

/cut to scen of Alistair saying "damn straight....swoopin' is wack!"

But Alistair might be the baby daddy. So he might say; "Swoopin is wack! But sometimes you break off a lil sumthin sumthin.Even if that means you owe back support." lol
Anyways,I think Morrigan is going to show up in DLC...again or in DA3 with O.G.B.Who knows, we might even be able to recruit Shale as an actual woman. She went to Tevinter so the mages could help turn her back to the way she was.

Yeah, I saw that a while ago.

Shale is also hidden at the end in the book:

I don't know why, but that picture is...kind of adorable, in its own way.

I hope she comes back. I missed her in DA2 right from the moment Flemeth directly mentions her and Anders' "a mage and an apostate saved us from the Blight" allusion to her. The Witch Hunt ending was abysmally dissatisfying. If she does return, would the OGB even appear? Has it been confirmed that the Dark Ritual is canon? If, perchance, DA3 takes place in Orlais, she's likely to make an appearance, wouldn't she?. If I remember right, one of the epilogues stated that a woman of her description was last seen there.

It not ridiculous, they both disappeared and are likely together, DA3 might bring them back as mentors or high ranking NPC's. Bioware wouldn't give that hint without a reason (well I hope they wouldn't).

That brave little bird, running away from shale and such.
I want it as the protagonist in DA3

Even tough they have said over and over that the old god baby is not cannon, I am getting the feeling it will become cannon. They have already copped out about the epilogs in end game saying that those are now treated as rumor and conjecture - not fact.

SO my guess is the cannon Warden is a Male Noble, Old God Baby, Architect alive.

SO for those who want a return of the warden I think that is the one you are going to get, fully voiced by some guy with a high squeaky voice to make it truly epic.

So they'll resurrect the wardens that died? If Hawke was cremated I'd get worried.

I choose to think they're going for truly epic. As in 'beyond the veil'. :) pc from earlier game dead? no problem. :P
A team of four, each a hero from their own little story(DA.O kind of story, not 'Leliana's song' kind of story). What might be big enough to deserve that kind of attention? THE QUNARI ! :D
