*hands AreleX candies* Don't be angry :)

Nice job on the vid. If I may, can you post the companion's attributes and the level you did this fight at? Merrill has incredibly high health bar, do you give her +health gears? Your Anders seem to be pretty resilient too, getting hit by 3 mobs til you came to him. I think my big problem with this fight is that the 2 Rage demons disappearing before the tank gets enough agro on them and then they like to target after Anders simultaneously...

Slightly off topic to Xebenkeck fight. Is it worth it to get King Something the Forgotten's armor + Etched Ring of the Twins? Or is it better off saved up for Bardin's Folly in Act 3?

Etched Ring of the Twins is a must-have for this build, you should get it as soon as you can. King Cailan's armor is nice, but not a necessity, due to the price tag. Thing is, though, you won't really be making any Act III purchases, since all the best stuff you can get comes from drops or chests.

I pumped CON hard on all my characters for my Warrior playthrough, so everyone has fairly high health, save for Varric. Merrill had way more HP than I did, I don't remember stats, but I do remember her eating two backstabs during Inside Job like they were nothin'.

In the vid, you see me run around and hit monsters once or twice to hold aggro. Between myself and Dog, things didn't get hairy until the second wave of adds. Also, I did this fight pre-patch, when Goad and Armistice didn't work properly for consoles, so it should be even easier now (I re-did it post patch, and absolutely smoked it).

EDIT: I'll try out Bardin's Folly if I ever actually feel like finishing Act II (unlikely), and will let you know how it is. Thank you for the candies, sir, and let me know if you have any more questions!

Is that really too hard to accept? Everyone knows the rogue class in Origins was the weakest class

LOL, this is fun...

OMG, this guy really says one wrong thing after another it seems. I'm sure he will not be able to get one thing right neither for a mistake.

Well, now I know another thing: rogues were the weakest class in DAO. I should write it to don't forget it and if I ever replay a cunning rogue I will continue telling myself it is the weakest class after killing everything in 10 seconds. Whoever knows that the game itself will convince of this truth and change accordingly?

I suggest to you to start also a thread on how the sun circuambulates around the earth, you would be completely right also there, as always.

Cunning build Rogues were ridiculously strong in Origins (my favorite build/class to play), it's like the guy discredits himself more and more with every single post.

I hope you haven't been arguing with him in the other thread, it'd be pointless. Let him be awful and thick-headed and ignorant, while the rest of us understand the class and have fun with it.

My problem is that I have this "red-cross syndrome" inside me, so I actually tried. However he simply deny evidence just to have a point so there's nothing to say, really.

He even stated that 2handed having AoE attacks is just my made-up theory of how warriors in-game work. Oh, well...

Fact: Bioware announced that they will be removing warriors from the game because they are weaksauce.

It's true because I made it up.

After 3 playthroughs with 3 different classes, this fight is still the hardest for me in the game  which is why I got interested in the thread (didn't notice "Created 1 month ago") plus I enjoy playing as Berserker Vanguard the most.

I had problems with getting good accessorries for my 2h-warrior end game. I was using generic Orange amulet and rings and figured I had enough money to buy some top tier purchases. And Bardin's Folly seems like the ultimate icing on the cake for warrior looking at the stats (paired with Primeval-runed Blade of Mercy). I guess I'll have to remember to pick up Etched Ring of the Twins in my next playthrough (first Nightmare) whenever I feel like playing DA2 again.

Oh since you're playing on console too. I heard that "Use current condition for next tactic" is bugged and that it skipped numbers? Is it true or am I hearing rumors? I don't know about it since advanced tactics are still green to me. Thanks :)

That's 'Jump to Tactic', not 'Use current condition for next tactic', that's bugged in that way. It jumps to x-1, so say you had' Enemy: Target is sitting on the toilet', and you wanted it to jump to your 12th tactic, 'Enemy: Any - Open door and taunt him', you would have to set your jump destination to 13.
