Just glancing at the first page, it would seem like the answer is "nobody".  Conversely, you can chalk the complaints up to:
1) Some people aren't happy unless they're nit-picking / ****ing.
2) People who enjoy the game are playing it (as I would be if I weren't stuck at work :P)

Seriously, though - what the heck?  There are some things that bug me, but overall I've really enjoyed it (I'm on my second playthrough now).   So raise your hand if you're having fun :wizard:

There's a thread in this forum called "Enjoy-O-Meter". I suggest you check it out. Don't believe the hype.

My lack of enjoyment is not due to personal preference, but to objectively game-breaking bugs.

Thanks, Rock - I'll do a search. Seriously, I've been too busy playing and yakking with friends on another forum about it (and we're all loving it) to come to the official forums. Just popped in today and was really shocked.

ETA:  Sorry to hear that, Mana.  The only bug I've encountered has been the Who Needs Rescuing bug (PC version).  Hopefully they'll get it patched soon so you can play :)

Nightmare is pretty fun, given Normal is incredibly easy. More DA always good.

I think its the usual situation. As you said, people who are happy are usually busy playing the game instead of forum dwelling. Unhappy people write blog topics on forums detailing their sad, tragic life experiences since buying DA2.

Having said that, no Idea why I'm here. I'm having fun playing and still stopping by the forum every so often. Image IPB

I'm blaming my forum-going today on work. I'm done for the morning (though it should pick up after lunch) so I have time on my hands. At the same time, I can't play, but I'm thinking about the game. Sooo - next best thing is to get on the forums and gab about the game :)

I stop by to check for any update on the patch and to enjoy the latest "worst game ever" posts. They amuse me.

I like the game. Sure, it has some problems, but I had my gripes with Origins, too. Some parts of DA2 are tedious, but you can't tell me Origins wasn't tedious - hello, Deep Roads.

I wish it wasn't limited to Kirkwall, but I'm still having fun playing. When I played the demo at PAX Prime and listened to the Bioware developers talk about it, they said they wanted the game to feel more like an inclusive universe, so I think this was their way of going about that. It might not have been the best solution, but it's true - the various locations in Origins didn't even look like they were from the same game.

The romance feels much improved. I like being able to flirt OR be just friends or rivals with someone (big plus over Mass Effect, where being nice = trying to get in everyone's pants). I also like that they threw in some pacing so you can't just rush and get the relationship over with like you could in Origins.

People are much more likely to talk about something they think is bad than something they like, so that's probably the phenomenon happening on the forums. It makes me a little sad, because I like the game and so far haven't encountered any bugs that have made it unplayable.

Take this with a grain of salt because I'm on the 360, so I'm pretty sure my argument is invalid.

I have played it, I have completed it, it's not good imho. I come here try to point out the things I dislike in hope they get fixed in next game. Your statement is childish and belittles everyone who has a legitimate issue with a game they bought and played.

Conversely, I think it's frustrating for people who are enjoying the game to be belittled for liking it (threads like "How could anyone be defending this game?" in not so many words). But I definitely understand where the legitimate issues are coming from.

DAO raised the bar too high apparently for Bioware. It could really be a case of the name attached to it. If this game was just called "Hawke" or "Kirkwall" or didn't have the DA name attached, people probably wouldn't be as harsh. Or if this game was made by someone other than Bioware who gave us many great stories in their games before so we know what they are capable of delivering.

The story really didn't have to even be said to be "Dragon Age" and we could have gotten the exact same game we call DA2. It could have just been said to be a spin-off series.

The bar was like it was set at fifty feet and we were given a midget trying to reach it without help.

There are some people who like DA2, just like there were some people that liked Batman & Robin

Dragon Age Origins was not without its problems, though. I think Bioware might have tried too hard to please too many people with the streamlining they did for DA2. It worked so well for Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2 (though you still have micromanagement diehards) that they got a bit carried away. It's not a bad game, it just let many people down.

I'm really enjoying it. It's far from perfect but I find myself immensely enjoying the combat. Some people seem to have issues with that system, though - but they're not me. I think it's pretty great - definitely great fun.

Reused environments isn't even an issue for me, they're there, sure. Even I noticed that - but I would rather prefer more direct results for my decisions than more maps. Which is about the only thing that I'd change about the game.

Otherwise, on my third game, now :)

No I belittle anyone who tries to pretend that this game was the worst release ever in the history of mankind and have to create constant topics on that and visit every positive thread to go on about it even more. The extremist people. Not the people with legitimate issues.

To feel the game has flaws is fine. To not like it as much as Origins is fine. To say the game has nothing redeeming about it is a falsehood. It clearly wasn't so unplayable or bad that you couldn't even finish it once. That's more than I could say about games I wasn't enjoying.

I'm enjoying it. Thank goodness it has no multiplayer like Borderlands. Sleep deprivation for any more than 3 weeks and I may need some professional help.

I really loved the game. Even more than Origins. Sure, it has it's flaws, but so does every other game out there. And for me, the good things far outweigh the flaws. Now waiting for a patch to fix the Isabella/Sebastian bug.

I'm having great fun. There are flaws here and there but I'm really enjoying DA2 a lot, more than DA:O. I'm in the middle of act 3 and I must say that the game is really addictive. My only regret is that with a little bit more time (6 months/1 year), DA2 would have been a real masterpiece.

I did the first playthrough a couple weeks ago - It isn't love, but I liked it. Just waiting patiently for the inevitable patch to come through. Then I'll try mageing it up.

I'm actually enjoying it more than I did DA: O. I made it through one playthrough + Awakenings, and just never could drum up the enthusiasm to do more playthroughs. Also never played Witch Hunt (though I bought it) - again, the enthusiasm was lacking. For whatever reason, I'm just tickled with DA2. I'm on my second playthrough and have plans for a third.

I'm loving it. I actually wasn't too fond of it when I first started, but that quickly (and I mean quickly as in before I even got to Kirkwall) changed. Good stuff! :3
