(Raises Hand)
It's not as good as DA:O, but it's good enough to provide some entertainment.

Just glancing at the first page, it would seem like the answer is "nobody".  Conversely, you can chalk the complaints up to:
1) Some people aren't happy unless they're nit-picking / ****ing.
2) People who enjoy the game are playing it (as I would be if I weren't stuck at work :P)

Seriously, though - what the heck?  There are some things that bug me, but overall I've really enjoyed it (I'm on my second playthrough now).   So raise your hand if you're having fun :wizard:

I had an absolute blast playing the game ! The game did have some flaws but even then was a very enjoyable experience.

Raises hand.
IMHO, combat, art, story and writing were improved in DA2.
Patch is in order though.

Overall I have enjoyed the game but there are still plenty of things about it that get on my nerves.

Consider my hand raised.
As I've said elsewhere, I can see room for improvement but thats the same with any game really. Most of those things are my personal opinion and not things that are "broken".
At the end of the day, I found myself enjoying the game and wanting to see the story through, which puts it above 80-90% of other games out there to me.

Right now I want to play it, so that's a good sign for me. But at the same time I had to reinstall Origins because I really miss some things that Origins had and DA2 lacks. It's like they are two different game worlds.

What I can say for now is. Can live without DA2 , but can't live without Origins.

I'm really loving it. I'm on my third playthrough, on PC, and I have experienced the bugs, including the Seb/Isa slowdown, but I installed a hack and don't have to worry about that one for now. I can understand wanting a patch, definitely. I enjoy the combat a lot, and I've found new things out about the game every playthrough, which gives me hope that there's more yet to find. Actually, it was during/after my second playthrough that I realized how dang good this game is--I think you can't see it as well until you play again with different choices. There are actually some possibilities which are not options because of your Hawke's personality or because of the choice of NPCs you brought along on a particular outing. These things may not alter the end-game scenario greatly, but they do significantly alter how I feel about the end game, which is what I think Role Playing is about.

Husband just kicked me off the desktop so he could play. Since I work on that computer and my money pays for his beer...I'm thinking he likes it.

I like the game and did have fun with it.

However, I couldn't bring myself to start a new game, unlike DA:O in which I started another new game immediately after my 1st gameplay. :(

I do and I am.

Of course it can't be compared to origins, but still... it's a fun game to play.

enjoyed it very much! I like that they did something different with it because I find too many sequels seem too similar(gears of war 2 - yawn!) I loved feeling conflicted in some of the choices I had to make. I liked that I got stuck in a relationship and then had to try and find some way to dump the guy(and oh yeah, try to stop a war!)
I agree that it's not perfect, but I am certainly happy with my purchase of this game.
Just to add, I did experience one bug with bitter pill, but luckily had a save point not far back so I could complete it - definitely not on the same scale as Ubisoft bugs where I got trapped at the end and could only restart to fix - grrr!

DAO raised the bar too high apparently for Bioware. It could really be a case of the name attached to it. If this game was just called "Hawke" or "Kirkwall" or didn't have the DA name attached, people probably wouldn't be as harsh. Or if this game was made by someone other than Bioware who gave us many great stories in their games before so we know what they are capable of delivering.

The story really didn't have to even be said to be "Dragon Age" and we could have gotten the exact same game we call DA2. It could have just been said to be a spin-off series.

The bar was like it was set at fifty feet and we were given a midget trying to reach it without help.

Honestly they could have just called it Dragon Age: Rise of Hawke and people probably would have been fine and not expected a true sequel to DA:O and thus there would have been less hate I think.

It's a good enough game, but being it doesn't live up to the standards set forth by the previous game or bioware.

I'm enjoying the game a lot. I had a blast playing as a rogue, now having fun as a mage. Of course I would have liked more but I think they did a good job with the time they had.

Honestly, the hate DA2 gets is almost like a witch hunt (no pun intended), blown way out of proportion. The biggest gripe seems to be that people who were disappointed, were expecting Origins 2. But series need to evolve, like Mass Effect did. Can one really compare Mass 1 and 2?

I think Origins is a great game, but so is DA2. Maybe not as great as Origins, but pretty close. I can think one major thing DA2 is missing...

A sequel :)

I can compare them.  ME2 was a de-evolution of the the ME series into a worse game.

I enjoy the game, currently on my second play-through, that said, I certainly have issues with it but they are mainly about recycled environments, enemy waves etc...actually i'm having some trouble finding motivation to continue playing.
The only meaningful thing I don't like is the lack of a compelling goal (IMO) within the story.
It's not what I expected but far from the debace some people are making out of it.

I actually was enjoying it, but I got the infamous Merril quest bug and decided to stop and wait for a patch instead.

Took a while for me to get into but I was enjoying it.

Let´s say it like this: You DO compare them, if you CAN do it is another Question. Who says ME2 is much less an RPG forgets about the horrible Sidequests in Part 1, and lives in a romantic Past. Fact is: ME1 was an ActionRPG too, and ME2 just skipped a few Points noone liked anyway (Like the horrible Inventar and boring Makoexploration). The Result is a really good. Not perfect (****ty Planetscanning, poor Sexscenes), but pretty good anyway.

Others DA2. Here misses something. It needs more Story, more Charinteraction, and a little bit more Decisions to be made.

I liked the story for the most part. I had fun playing it. I'm more into story than combat so wasn't really captivated by the combat changes, although I can see that they are an improvement over DAO.

What I was disappointed about was the reused maps, lack of engaging sidequests and somewhat one dimensional companion interaction (including romances).

Remember the Denerim Chantry Curator?

In the Haven temple ruins we find something for her, bring it to her and have a conversation about it.

There were several fetch and return quests in DA2 like this but all you did was find some random object, and get a quest telling you where to deliver it. You deliver it and get a generic comment like 'oh thanks for finding that, I thought I'd lost it'.. No background, no reason to pay attention to it at all except as an item on a checklist. most didnt even make sense. You find something in a place noone had any business being previously, like the Deep Roads, and they act like they had dropped it there..

Anyway, that sort of thing was weak and made the game weaker for it.

Besides the plethora of bugs, I love this game..I hope to see future patches not only fix the game but bring it more to life.

90/100 is my score for this game. Enjoy it a lot.

Personally, I've enjoyed the game... yes, there are mechanics issues and bugs, but I've enjoyed the story. It's not all that annoying to me that we're left with a cliffhanger, at least that shows they're looking toward a continuation of the story. I'm on my 3rd playthrough (doing one for each class), and I like it, faults and all. Do I wish there were less faults? Absolutely... but I'm also not about to go all drama queen about it.

I'm loving it! Currently on my third play-through and I'm finding it nearly as fun as my first :) I have plans already for what I'm going to be doing in my fourth time around. I'm not playing as much per day as I was the first week it came out (education, work, kids, etc...oh yeah...and that sleep thing) but I really enjoy playing a couple hours every night. It's not close to getting old for me.

I've been playing cRPG's for over a decade and this ranks as one of my favourites!

Yes, there are some bugs and issues, but they haven't affected me too much.
