New conspiracy theory, Jethann was involved in the franken murders in general and that of your mother.

The husband of Ninette says that Ninette was sent the lilies by Jethann. They don't expand on this any further as far as I know leaving it up to you to assume that he was mistaken......but was he?....Dun,...dun dun dun!

I think Ghyslain just assumes the flowers came from Jethann because that's the only suitor he knows about. I don't think Jethann actually sent them.

Aha!  That was my point, no proof either way.  I would want to follow up on that lead, if the dang mages and Templars didn't start their little war.

He amused me a great deal. Too bad he wanders off.
I love having Hawke sleep with him whilst Carver is in the party. Automatic rivalary point. Little bruv is jealous?

Bethany is horrified if you agree to sleep with him in front of her. I haven't tried with Carver. I'll have to next time.

After reading this thread I can't help but wonder, what will DA 2 look like if Jethann told the tale instead of Varric.

I can think somethings about my hawke & carver & him... but this ain't right place to tell that.

I can sense a crack fic coming on ...

Oh ho ho ho.

Heh. Although Jethann is one of the few characters I might make time to do fanart for. Both the G rated kind and the M rated.

We know at least ONE elf was involved. Orsino. Jethann could've played delivery boy at the very least if he did play a hand in it.

I have this theory that he is way more badass and has talents beyond just being a prostitute. After all, its only one of his MANY talents. Image IPB

Seriously, since reading this thread last night I can't get the idea of him narrating Hawke's tale out of my head. So yeah ... I'm writing it.

I told my friend Mark Meer did the voice for Jethann, and she ended up doing this:

don't mind the watermark, Liara has to deal with her new tattoo.

I swear if I don't get the option to play Jethann Shepard in ME3 I'm gonna throw all my toys out my pram.

Still can't believe it is Mark Meer. He sounded like barely animated dead in Mass Effect.
@BeserkingBomb love the vid.

Meer plays the biotic god volus in ME2 as well.

Don't forget folks, he is directed when acting. They want Shepard to sound the way he does. It has little to do with Meer being unable to pull off any kind of emotion or range (as well know now).

I have listened to him, then to Shep, then to him again, then to Shep again... I don't even heard the beginning of something similar between them. Is something wrong with me or what ? xD

I must admit he made me laugh when I spoke with him, but, I don't know why, he is a little frightening. Must be the new elf design thing.

I couldn't believe it when I saw that IMDB page a week or so back; my jaw dropped. Mark Meer's voice was unrecognizable to me, and he did a better job than I would've believed he could. He was wonderful for Jethann. Maybe he's the type who gets fatigued if he has to play just one character for a long time, whereas his minor roles really shine because he just loves being different people?

At any rate, I freaking loved Jethann. He made me blush, laugh, and smile. Such a cool twist; a male elven hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold! I kinda hope he comes back.

Haha I'm always so impressed when I find out Meer does the voice acting for other BioWare characters and actually does a great job considering I can't stand his MaleShep acting and will never play a MaleShep because of it (besides the fact of being a Jen Hale fangirl, but whatev ).

He also did the legendary orphan Ollie from DAO. "My mother is especially dead!" "I still don't have my parents."

Doesn't Meer do improv comedy? Makes sense that he would have a variety of silly voices.

I do have to say that (Commander) Jethann is one of my favorite characters in all DA2. I liked him before I found out it was the same VA as Sheploo. And finding that out? Just made me love the character all the more.

I get the feeling a lot of people aren't aware that Shepard is wooden because that's his character, not because Mark Meer is a terrible actor.

Well it's odd, because FemShep shows more emotion (especially in ME1).  I guess Bioware things women should show more emotion?  But it's not even that, Hale won me in ME1 when I had her tell off Joker and Kaidan for acting unprofessional at the very start, and she sounded more military to me than Meer.

Odd direction from Bioware, since Meer clearly has more range than he's allowed to use, yet Hale is.

And yes, Jethann amuses even more now that I know he's Meer.
