Yup, I'm going to agree here: Act 2.
Act 1 took WAY too long with setting up storylines that you think you have influence on but effectively don't.
Act 3 was WAY too short and proved that whatever you did in Act 1 didn't matter anyway.
Act 2 gave depth to the characters and actually had somewhat of a resolution to it (kicking the Qunari out).

Act 2. Most significant interactions with most companions, and the Arishok stuff.

Have to agree with the majority. Act 2 was just where everything good happened in the game storyline wise and you had way more interaction with party members. Act 1 was not bad but lacking in companion interaction i felt really disconnected from them for most of Act 1 after meeting them.
Act 3 was really the worst one from a writing point of view. A whole bunch of weird nonsensical stuff happened i really facepalmed with how silly the end bosses were set up especially if you side with the mages and Orsino or whatever he is called randomly turns into a demon and attacks you for no reason and Meredith is weird either way with her lyrium sword thing that she just happened to buy randomly and turn it into a sword. The story with that just felt kinda boneheaded.

Act 2. For multiple reasons, the quests in this Act engage my heart and mind the most, Feynriel's quest in the fade, the Romances (Whichever one you do) reach a high point, All that Remains...(not to mention the scene with your LI consoling you after that quest). Isabella (if you can get her to the appropriate level of approval) displays remarkable layers to her characterization either romanced OR as a friend. And the Arishok. Best Bioware antagonist I have encountered so far.
