The world is at war. For the first time in history, the templars distanced themselves from the Chantry and lead an exalted march against the mages, even without the Divine's order. The mages, sick of their opression and unfairness, revoked and abominations and blood mages run wild. The Chantry, having lost two of their most important 'processions', organized a group of seekers to find the Hero of Felderan and the Champion to make things right again.
Play as a mage, warrior (templar) or rouge (seeker) and forever change destiny.
So you either start off as a mage with Anders as starting companion (yes, he lives again, no matter what. There are privileges when you are the developers' favourite)
or a Warrior with Cullen as your starting companion and it is likely you can only have one specialization, which is to be a templar.
or a rouge as a seeker (yeah, new class!) and your starting companion will be Cassandra.
no matter your starting choice, you get to recruit these 3 persons and together, you will find the Hero of Felderan and the Champion (which can be imported!! HURRAY!) Special Dialogue Bonus if your champion romanced Anders!!!
and before you know it, peace come sand there is the end of Dragon Age (the new Divine decided to shorten the time because of how many crazy stuffs happened in this cursed age).
A new age will begin! Names anyone?
This is how DA3 will be played out... n it is more linear than ever...

The only thing I know for sure is that the PC will kill an Ogre, and within minutes be saved from death by Flemeth.
Think about it... It's like if you can down an Ogre you get a 1up courtesy of the witch of the wilds. 2/2 Dragon age games have started this way.

No. DA3 will take place on a new continent called "K'cie" where you spend 30 hours on an incredibly boring forced path. Only to get pseudo freedom to what would be the most embarrassing and lackluster end in all of gaming.
We'd learn that Flemeth is actually the mother to the Warden, regardless of race choice and that he (yes there is no female warden anymore) is related to Hawke. Of which is also male. Who also got it on with Anders.
Good try.

You forgot the part where these companions die at the beginning, or tragically die in the deep roads.
Edit: But not before you have picked your talents and group composition to rely completely on that character.

I think that, regardless of how you may feel about the empire strikes back, that you will be in awe of RotJ!
I can't wait until the final scene of the festival after the defeat of <generic BAD thing 432424> when there is the scene of Duncan, Flemmeth, Brice Cousland (regardless or save origin)and Hawke's dad in hologram form meant to imply that it is their spirits.
