Definitely.  Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust are two of my most favorite albums ever.  Although I have to say "As the World Falls Down" and "Within You" are up at the top of my list of Bowie songs since Labyrinth was the first time I fell in love with him when I was 7. 



That's when I decided I wanted to be Sarah when I grew up.  That hasn't worked out very well for some reason...  LOL

Has anyone else heard the tribute CD .2 Contamination?  It's hit or miss on alot of songs, but some of them are really good!  I like "John, I'm Only Dancing" (The Brides), "Andy Warhol" (The Metrosexuals) and "China Girl" (Voltaire).

The usual suspects of course, Pink Floyd, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Kansas, Rush, Yes...
Then there's newer ones like Nightwish, Nektar, Queensryche, Iron Savior, Muse, Narnia, Kamelot, Symphony X, Savatage, Stratovarious, Dream Theater, Van Der Graaf Generator.

I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Yes, and ELP, along with Elecric Light Orchestra, so I've always been a huge fan of progressive rock/metal ) There's around 3,500 MP3s just in the prog rock folder!

For my English Lit research paper, I did a full research project on Pink Floyd. I've followed them since Dark Side of the Moon in the early 70s. My english prof was a 60s flower child type, so she loved it and gave me an A )

Same here, absolutely same here.
I was somewhere between the age of five and eight, sitting in a godforsaken motel room somewhere south of Flagstaff with my parents, watching tv, and this movie was on.
I just sat there in open-mouthed awe throughout the entire thing, couldn't be torn away from the TV set, and henceforth was absolutely lost in my love for Bowie.

Haven't heard that tribute compilation yet...
