Actually that very song was the first song that made me take a peek into the realm of Black Metal, (Next one was brilliant Satyricon - Mother North. And it has been downhill ever since :D). To this day this song is one of my favourite songs ever, the atmospheric tremolo part at 2:37 still gives me goosebumps after these years.

Got into death metal afterwards, but I like both black and death metal equally. It all depends on the mood and moment really, death and thrash for more outward feelings and headbanging, black for more passive and inwards turning moments. Or either just for the kicks, I love both genres for different reasons

Awesome album that slumber of sullen eyes. Too bad rest of Demigods work is not as good.
