trance's best days were during the mid-90's and early 2000's. it's gone downhill since 2004. tiesto blows goats, and so does anybody who actually LIKES his "music."

anyway, i'm currently listening to "geek" by mc chris.

That maybe true, but it's still alive and well in the larger U.S. cities. (Mostly in Europe/UK/Russia/Ibiza and a few other places). Armin Van Buuren has been named the International DJ of the year for the last three years and he's mostly a progressive trance producer.

armin doesn't even really dabble in trance these days. he's mostly going with progressive. he throws in some progressive trance into his radio show mixes. i listen to it whenever i can, or remember to. i paul van dyk has lost his producer's edge. "out there and back" is my most favorite album as far as music production is concerned. his live mixes, however, are still kickass. i got to see him live in scottsdale, az and seattle, washington some time ago.

Master Blaster - Until The End (Breakboy & Ced Tecknoboy Remix) [05:34/320/Joint Stereo]

I don't feel so alone with trance music now. Finally, there is some one who listens to pop trance like Axel ******, Jens O., Liz Meyer, Neo Cortex, Accuface, 2 Vibez, The Real Booty Babes, Special D, Starsplash, Jan Wayne, Rocco & Bass-T, 4 Elements, The Hitmen, DJ Yanny, Kate Lesing, Verano, Beatrix Delgado & DJ Klubbingman, etc.

I think these can be considered trance, atleast partly

What you have before sounds similar to bond or an asian soap opera opening. I like it :D There are so many different kinds of trance :D

Wintersun (Bobby D'Ambrosio Mix) - Bond
Fuego (Caliente Mix) - Bond
Time - Bond

I don't really have any music genre I hate, although most "songs" where there is no actual melody and is full with hissing and other weird noices (I think its called punk metal or something) does scare me away

I like themes which use clasic musical instruments too the most, also those which use cultural reference like Nox for hungarian folklore, in the last two years I got really interested in J/A-Pop, but I still like Jazz, Rock, Pop, and other genres too. Still, it is unquestionable for me that what I prefer is modern music mixed with classical artistics.
