Build Music Track #2 ~ The Sims 1 soundtrack

Both The Sims 1 and Sims 2 actually had some excellent background music pieces. I love this piano piece because it's so soothing and makes you want to drift off and sleep. ZZZ.

Finishing up listening to and editing the LucasCast podcast episode 16.  We talked in part about Return to Ostagar and ME2--should be up later today some time (after I sleep so I can write the release post coherently) on the LucasCast site.

Awesome music from Club Afterlife. I can't beleive they left this out of the ME2 Soundtrack.

Crap - I remember doing the Fred Schneider voice on drunken Karaoke nights on this. "Hop on my Chrysler its as big as a whale and its about to set sail......"

Right now? I've forgiven Kanye for the incident: listening to Amazing...

All that was required in the original Alice in Chains song to make it just perfect is in this one:

Grave - Them Bones (yet, another Swedish Death Metal band...)

Emerald Island - Leaves' Eyes
My favorite track off this album. It's just so bautiful and powerful. The song is about someone leaving Ireland, the whole album has a bit of a celtic feel to it along with their usual viking/norse themes.

Insatiable ~ Darren Hayes

Half of Australia's late 90s pop music duo Savage Garden, lead singer Hayes later struck out on his own. This track is the first single off his 2002 album Spin. While hardly a departure from the pop scene, this album showcases Hayes' distinctive vocals and signature falsetto, and gives him a chance to experiment a little. Insatiable has a bit of Latin flavor and a darker, more intense undercurrent that strays away from Savage Garden's typically easy-breezy sugary ballad style. I haven't tracked Hayes' career ever since, but this is a good track that I put on once in a while for the memories.
