Oh, I like them!
I'm currently doing some extra listening to Mumford & Sons, myself, as I'm going to see them in concert soon...
The Cave, and Little Lion Man and Roll Away Your Stone and Awake My Soul and so on...

Mumford and Sons... I recognize the name, but hadn't heard them until this.  I like what I've heard just now, though!  Now it's:

Grizzly Bear - Ready, Able

www.youtube.com/watch

They put out one of my favorite albums of last year, and this is my favorite song from that album.  Really beautiful stuff.

I really miss the more metal approach of The Downward Spiral. That is one of the sickests records I have ever listened to.

Yes me too, after all this and heavy industrial is what made NIN so great. But now its more like ambient / upbeat etc. I am not a sentimental person, but completely abandoning the roots is always a big mistake.

Although I prefer ''Further Down the Spiral'' over ''The Downward Spiral,  ''Eraser -Denial & Realization'' rocks my pants:
Nine Inch Nails - Eraser, denial realization

That´s the exact reason why I love Ministry. They started absolutely disgusting on With Sympathy and then Twitch was a great album. Then Filth Pig and Psalm 69 rounded it up. :)

Where The Party At ~ Jagged Edge

I think I've gradually come to accept the fact that mainstream hip-hop and R&B, both my favorite genres, will always be about opposite gender/sex objectification and frivolous hedonism. But, you know, at least in the 1990s these people could actually SING and SOUND GOOD while going about it. It's not a romanticization of the past as much as it is a fact. Stupid contemporary mainstream radio and current artistes' overreliance on autotune / heavy electronica and bass beats. >.>

If it´s decent hip hop it´s not mainstream. Public Enemy is one of the very few Hip Hop acts I like and they made it better when they worked with Anthrax.

Venice Rooftops (Assassin's Creed 2 OST) ~ Jesper Kyd

Approaching Target 2 (Assassin's Creed 2 OST) ~ Jesper Kyd

Meet my favorite composer of all time. Jesper Kyd is, simply put, an electronica/orchestral genius. Amazing work on the "Venice Fight" theme, where the distortions in the background add a sense of edgy tension and unpredictability to the atmosphere. If you guys haven't already, do check out his work for Ubisoft's Hitman series. The man is just awesome.

Stronger ~ Kanye West

West's popularity notwithstanding, he's hardly the best rapper alive and I also find the majority of his lyrics excruciatingly juvenile (except for the beautifully heartbreaking "Roses", which remains a favorite). Still, West has talent as a producer with a ear for a good beat and flow, and this Daft Punk-origin remixed track reflects that. I can't stop listening to it. >.>

NIN - The big come down
NIN's best of all the time.

Sadly, Trent's music pretty much went downhill since the peak of awesomeness - ''the fragile'' in 1999 and ''things falling apart''. And as much as I like instrumental ambient music, ''Ghost''....jjust boring. Well, the slip is not bad to be honest.

NIN is horribly overrated.
Most of their music is either ordinary/dull or just annoying.
I just don't understand the hype around Trent Reznor.
Oh and thumbs up to those that who posted Yoko Kanno:happy:

Anyway, I'm listening to Imaginary Friends - Zeromancer
