So, I've decided to play a dw rogue this play through... and was curious. Currently I am using The Bodice Ripper which is obtained in the Fools Rush in quest and Arm of Adruil.
Anyone found anything superior prior to going into the Deep Roads?

Bloodletter, a drop from Captain Reiner (private dock, Wayward Son quest). It's 20 physical damage same as the Arm of Adruil.
EDIT: Not dps, as clarified below.

There are a few that will get you 20 physical damage (not to be confused with 20 dps).
Bloodletter - +35 Attack | Messy Kills (whatever the hell that means), Looted from Captain Reiner during Wayward Son.
Not extremely appealling to me. Attack is something easily gained from accessories in Act 1, and I honestly don't know what Messy Kills does. It's most likely something aesthetic.
Cruel Dagger - +8% Critical Damage | +6 vs. humans, Purchased from Shady Merchandise on The Docks
The crit dmg boost is great no matter what, but for me by the time I'm willing to spend coin on items I know I'll be geting rid of in the next act, there aren't a whole lot of humans left for me to fight. So another wasted secondary gain.
Tarnished Dagger - +35 Attack | +4 Fire damage, Purchased from Lirene's Ferelden Imports where you discover Anders's location.
Not sure about this one, same issue with Attack as Bloodletter, but the Fire damage is a nice bonus considering how fast DW Rogues can hit, it's just ashame enemies in the Deep Roads aren't exactly weak to fire, one in particular being immune.
My opinion is to go with the Tarnished Dagger or stick with The Bodice Ripper. Tarnished Dagger sets you up to pick up Blade of Red Death as basically a direct upgrade. The Bodice Ripper complements Andruil's Arm's + Attack Speed with + Crit Chance, more attacks = more opportunities to take advantage of more crits! Direct damage isn't always the best route to go.
EDIT: My information is taken from the Prima Official Guide, but the italicized type is my own opinion, take that for what it's worth.

I'd just stick with the Arm of Adruil and the Bodice Ripper; I mentioned Bloodletter as it's a freebie (unless you missed looting Captain Reiner's corpse), and it would also lead to a direct upgrade in the Blade of Red Death. But the Bodice Ripper's crit boosts will probably serve just fine for the Deep Roads.Meathooks333 wrote...

If for whatever reason you wanted to stack +Fire damage, then the Tarnished Dagger might be a good grab. I just don't know about investing coin in Act I daggers when the found daggers will suffice until you start swapping in Act II daggers.
Messy Kills is of course either a joking nod to the same useless property in DA:O or just a joking nod to the fact that, well, when aren't there messy kills in the DA games?
There's also a dagger on the weaponsmith (I believe) in Lowtown that boosts lockpicking and trap disarming. While it's a good idea to aim for high Cunning anyway, this dagger can help you tackle the tougher chests and traps while you spread your attribute development more to better fit your combat priorities. Just remember to swap out the dagger (it's only a 15 base damage if I recall correctly) with a more suitable dagger for actual combat.
