I've had ME2 since its launch and have started replaying it in preparation for the Arrival DLC.

But for some reason this playthrough I've been having all sorts of weird issues,

First the game starts up fine then when I try to start/load a game the screen went black.

After a few attempts I managed to get past the main screen only for it to freeze on the loading screen.

Then when it finally didn't freeze I had problems with the DLC not being recognised even though they were still on the hard drive.

That issue was also finally fixed itself.

So I managed to start playing the game without incident and have just got to the point where you have  to recruit the next set of party members. Went to Ilium and did the two missions for Liara and went to recruit Thane, spoke to the woman and choose the 'I'm ready' option and got the loading screen...and guess what it froze on the screen where it says "saving do not turn off your system" I couldn't do anything so I had to turn my console off. I don't know if my file is corrupted yet as I am reluctant to check.

Anyway onto my point, is anyone else been having these issues recently? Or is it just my console playing up?

For information I own the new X-box 360 and both discs of ME2 has been installed to the hard drive.

I had some issues a month or so ago with the importer and progression similar to what you have experienced.

The first thing you could try is clearing the system cache. Here is how you can do that: http://support.xbox....tem-cache.aspx

Another issue now; the game glitched on the Tali loyalty mission I go to talk to Shala Ran before the trial and it bypassed the trial and went straight to her 2nd speech?
