Usually not, most of my wardens consider being a pawn for either woman not worth the trouble. Whether they take the book or just walk away depends on the warden. I think only one has killed her.

Whatever else she is Flemeth is a seer the appointment was probably the warden coming to the hut. Beyond knowing that maybe she didn't see the outcome.

The amulet is insurance for survival. If real!Flemeth is dead then amulet!Flemeth flies off into the sunset. If real!Flemeth isn't dead then she flies back to the the Wilds or wherever real!Flemeth is and they reunite into a whole.

Personally I can't help but wonder if all those dragonlings in the Bone Pit belong to dragon!Flemeth or not.

I always kill her. I figure my reasons are valid.

1. Morrigan responds "You're not really killing her."
2. Morrigan points out that a blade that hits her will bleed, if it's lucky enough to find her.
3. She turns into a dragon and Dragon Age tends to lack DRAGONS!!!
4. Lastly, she drops loots. Well sort of. Plus it's exp. Not a hard fight and you can just consider it training for the harder dragons.

I assume my logic is valid. If my Hero ran into Flemeth again I'd just go "Hey, no hard feelings." and if she tried to fight my Warden she'd end up as maggot food again. My Warden Commanders follow the rule of "Go hard or go home!"

I've only killed her once, and felt terrible about it. Every game thereafter, I let her live...and why not, she's always saving the protagonist's butt from something or other. :)

I loved Flemeth and hated Morrigan. I'd have loved Flemeth as a party member, possessing Morrigan.

It's not that I dont like Flemeth, I just like Morrigan more.
So yeah, Flemeth gets shanked every playthrough =(
I do kind of wish either letting her live or killing her would have made a difference somewhere.

So sure, we see Flemeth resurrected, but if its one size fits all whether your Warden killed Flemeth or let her go, isn't that sort of ignoring what the Warden did? Or is Flemeth's reference to her "appointment" just a vague reference to her meeting up with the Warden, whether she was killed or not?

Of course the Warden doesn't necessarily have to meet Flemeth again at all.  I had one who just didn't want to give the spooky looking book to the the mean apostate, and thus avoided the whole plot.

This also happened to me too.  I keep hold of the book and in DAO Morrigan approaches me for the book.  It was my next convo that I start with her or a cut scene, I don't remember which.   I believe the option comes up to lie about the book(s).  You don't have to give the Black Grimore to Morrigan either, she will also asks for this book if you don't give it her. after the broken circle quest.  I found this by accident.  I just hadn't gotten around to handing out gifts.   I think she still shows up to offer the ritual regardless.

Flemeth could also be on her way to track the warden down for killing her and this is her actual appointment in DA2 or I like to think so.  Yes, Flemeth would have a bone to pick with the wardens that killed her.  Most of my wardens have killed her.  I have one warden that let her live.  I really enjoyed Alistair's line about lying to Morrigan over it all.

Also Morrgian makes mention that she has never seen any of Flemeth's other daughters.  With Flemeth broken into pieces from the whole she can pop up anywhere and be anyone that you're talking to in DAO or DA2.   Also from the past, present, and future since we now know that she can break herself into pieces.

The village elder in Lothering reminded me of Flemeth the first time that I met her.  I believe that she sends a letter to Leandra.  I want to say the elders name was Miriam.   You also have the option on the poultice quest and make a wise crack and the response is so like Flemeth.  I thought wow that old lady is sure a wise a**.

No it doesn't matter if you kill her or not. She still shows up on Sundermount in the amulet.

I've always wondered if Flemeth and Morrigan are one and the same.  Wouldn't surprise me.

Oh yah I know that, but does she still say stuff about how she had a thought something would happen and if she knew morrigan it already had, or the line about Hawke saving her life, as he once saved his/hers. Or does she wake up with the knowledge that the amulet trip was unnessecary?

I didn't talk to Morrigan much so I didn't even know you COULD kill Flemeth until after I had already beaten DAO. lol. So no I didn't, and it apparently makes no difference either way.

An option comes up where Flemeth can state that knowing Morrigan as she does the amulet was a safety or insurance plan and nothing more.  Flemeth doesn't really state about the warden's decision to kill her or not.   Per decision as others have said, it doesn't matter either way.  Flemeth is  in Kirkwall because this is where she wants to be regardless of what happens with Morrigan in DAO or WH  with the wardens help or not.

Flemeth did say that the amulet was insurance in case the inevitable happened. "And if I know my Morrigan it already has"

So I guess if you didn't kill her her old body died of old age.

Re: Flemeth "Resurrection" I think her comment to the effect that bodies are such limiting things, and why is it that she should only be in one place at a time is illuminating. We do not even know what type of creature she is. It is possible that she is unique, and has the unique ability to split off fragments of herself. Since we never see or here from her after she leaves Sundermount one possibility is that if her original self is still alive the fragment from the amulet went back to rejoin the main body. Or if she was killed the fragment would be able to carry on nevertheless. Hence her comment that the amulet was a kind of insurance policy. Whether the Warden killed her or not she would still be able to carry on in some form. Makes perfect sense to me and requires no hypothetical other killer to kill her original body.

I killed her on my first PT. But on my "real" PT, I didn't. Morrigan is a friend, and I also find what Flemeth plans as far as possessing bodies to be abhorrent. Still, Flemeth saved the Warden's life and as horrible of a person she is, I just don't feel right about visiting death on her after what she did. By saving the Warden, she may well have saved all of Ferelden from a nasty fate.

So, in my real playthrough, I didn't kill her.

Truth be told, though, it really is a no-win situation. You either help a companion by killing Flemeth who saved your life, or you set loose a woman who raises daughters solely to possess their bodies. In that light it almost doesn't matter. It's a crap sandwich no matter what.
