My Escapist bracket got totally ****ed my Mojang.  I had Epic games taking them out way back when, and the final 4 being Epic vs Valve and Bioware vs Blizzard.

... I have Blizzard winning, so I'm voting for them.  :innocent:

I like Bioware games and all, but I grew up playing Blizzard games.  Diablo and SC game out right when my parents let me start playing M rated games, and Diablo/Starcraft/Warcraft are the bread and butter of my gaming repertoire.

But Bioware is owning right now, so rejoice.

Bioware and Blizzard seem to be getting equal number of votes since I went to be last night but Bioware got an early 5000+ vote lead which is not disappearing.

Meanwhile. Valve is going to go down to Mojang. That gap is down to just 900 votes now and disappearing really fast. I think your bracket is going to continue to be messed up. Image IPB

Mojang AB  47.2% (7748)
Valve 52.8% (8671)

Bioware has alot to do before making unto Blizzard's success within fan base and profit. Yes, I am a long time player of Blizzard games such as Starcraft and World of Warcraft (6 years), but I also have loved Bioware since the first Knight of the Old Republic when it came out on ye ol X-box.

But for one, WoW had a almost record of 13 million subscribers. that is alot of money and copies sold of WoW with expansions. Also, Starcraft, and Diablo and amoung the previous Warcraft RTS games. It seems to me that Bioware is getting up there, but they still have a ways to go.

I hope that Star Wars: The Old Republic does wonderfully. For console/PC 1 player RPGs, I hope Bioware keeps up it's great creative juices and keeps creating wonderful games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and ever more Knights of the Old Republic.

but if Blizzard and Bioware would square off on each other, Blizzard would still win.

The 13 million subscribers is getting old , it was never 12 million , The reason was already explained a while back time ago , yes a chinese farmer creating 1 million free accounts (Cause in china it is free and paid per hour or with in game gold), counted as 1 million subscribers ....
Now basically if you want the real figures , you would have guessed it at 4.4 million cataclysme sold .
That is it , still a daunting number in the west , but no where near the 12 million , especially since in that explanation , 7 million chinese account makes up only 10% of total wow revenue .
Look nothing against wow addicts , but it is getting old the information .
Or else create a farmville account , it has 65 million account users world wide ... if you want to join the largest online community .

Of course, we can't take any of this seriously. These games have millions of players so these votes are only those of one small community and some fanboys weighing in. But it is amusing to see the minecraft juggernaut slaying all those in its path.

Mojang AB   48% (8205)
Valve   52% (8876)

It's Bioware Vs. Mojang AB. Get your votes on, avenge the deaths of valve, nintendo, epic games, capcom, bungie, obsidan games and bandai namco.

I haven't played Minecraft so I can't make a reasonable valid judgement on on who to vote. But it's kinda weird to put so much value into a developer solely on the only game they have made against a developer who's made many more, though. But then again, from what I've heard, Minecraft has been pretty influential to the industry.

But I don't really care who's gonna win since it looks like another glorified popularity contest. Refused to vote.

Minecraft rules, but of course you have to be kind of naturally creative to enjoy it. I'm not surprised that it's getting trashed on BSN, where any game with sandbox qualities that don't lead the player around on rigid story-driven rails gets dumped.

Bioware aren't ranking high in my esteem lately, but they are still heads and bounds above Blizzard since the release of Diablo II.

I do. Incidentally I like my coffee, beer, and cold winter days the same way. B)
