I noticed it too. Kind off makes me wonder what that's all about.

Those concered about when this DLC takes place in the ME2 time frame, have you considered that since it is supposedly a 5 part mission pack that you may only be able to access the last two or even the last part of it after the SM? Just a thought...

Possible spoiler:

From what I remember, the IGN preview of the first mission had the 2 hour countdown to the Reaper invasion. I doubt Shepard would go and take a break to do something else when the Repears were that close.

The VS isn't in the trailer, so... maybe not? I bet Harbinger puts the moves on you, though.

That's the ESRB rating for Mass Effect 2. They do not rate downloadable content.

I don't really see a continuity error at the end with the Reapers flying towards the galaxy.

Because you essentially destroyed their option forcing them to leg it further. And the ending scene is more for dramatic effect anyway.

After Horizon, you do the Arrival and Reapers are 2 hours from Batarian space.

Then fastfoward a couple of days or weeks to the suicide mission: the Reapers awake and then start going toward the Milky Way from deep space.

Me: lol, wut?

Sexual situations is probably because of the ESRB of the original game.

Yeah but I bet that number can change based on when you access that part of the DLC, so lets assume you do it right after horizon, the countdown could say, oh I dunno, 72 hours? Its just food for thought anyway

As for ther trailer itself - doont yuo get idea it is a bit to hectic ?? I mean the pictures just flash very fast like they didnt whanted people to look at details of them, and the music is a bit apart to the action.

Mine impersion is this is just poorly assembled Trailer -dont get me wrong it is still intersting and hyping me to buy DLC but nevertheless it looks less of a masterpece that ShadowBroker DLC trailer

Ah, good point.

I still think that there will be a canon timeframe stating that Arrival happened after the suicide mission (hence one reason you have no squadmates). And Bioware is just being kind letting people access it after Horizon.

But of course, that's just speculation. I guess we'll find out in a couple of hours.

Yeah I am just throwing an idea around. I really hope that it takes place after the SM. It just makes more sense for it to happen then.

I really dislike how the implications of the "Alpha Relay" seem to completely invalidate Mass Effect 1's brilliant story.

Remember sidequest on Franklin - the Battarian firing 2 nukes on the human colony, and you have to stop the missiles ?? you can scan Franklin to get the note it is 10 minutes until impact, then go fly to difrent sector do some missions, return back and still  it is 10 minutes left :)

But i agree that one you see the countere there would be no turning back - you will have go through all the Arrival DLC before getting anywere else.

To the people wondering if an asteroid can destroy a relay - at the end of the trailer the asteroid seems to explode, and the trailer keeps showing us Shepard and the Dr next to some kind of blue orb bomb thing (not Object Rho). Isn't it more logical to assume they've hidden a bomb on/in an asteroid to ensure it gets to the relay unharmed, and then detonated when its next to it.

At least thats what I thought I saw at the end of the trailer.

Object Rho - isnt it the very same device we see in ME Evolution comics ??

Hardly. The Reapers only use the Citadel so they can ambush the galaxy, wipe out government and acces all information in one swoop. It seems logical they'd have left a back door with access to the galaxy in case that went wrong - in case the element of surprise is blown.

Although some foreshadowing of the alpha relay would've been nice.

There is nothing special about the Alpha relay. It is just called that because it is the first relay the Reapers are encountering on their journey to our systems.

I recall the system it is located is on the very edge of the galaxy map.

Maybe, must be a copy since this one was found in an asteroid around the Alpha Relay.

Nope, this relay is special.it's able to connect with every other relay in the universe. Normal relays can only connect to a twin or a set of other determined relays.
