You're reading too much into it. He's talking about the eventual release of the patch for each platform, not where they're at now (or in the case of the post you link, five days ago).

I did not either confirm or deny that all the platforms are releasing simultaneously, simply that there is a patch in place for all of them AND that consoles have a longer process. You're welcome to infer whatever you want from that statement but they will be assumptions and not official news.
