You can actually kill Leliana and Wynne at the end of the Sacred Ashes quest. I did it just to see what happends but I reloaded the game since I just cant live without Leliana.

Does she still show up ingame in DA2? Or in the ending cutscene if you import a game with Leliana killed?

Just wondering... anyone tried it?

Haven't tried it (can't be without my Leliana in dragon age), but supposedly she's still alive no matter what happens in Origins.

Edit: It's a bug? Has there been a dev comment on it?

Leliana isn't a bug. Leliana survived. Suck it up.

Zevran is supposed to stay dead, though.

You just knocked her out, the Maker's watching over her, it didn't actually happen, alternate universe. Take your pick.

Yea it's kinda wierd having her magically re-appear.  I killed her in a couple Origin games.  I killed Zevran in almost every Origin playthrough.

Also I wish there would have differences if you sided with Templars or Mages during Origins.

According to the DA wiki if Leliana is dead then she doesn't appear at the end of DA2. http://dragonage.wik...om/wiki/Leliana

Is the wiki right, though? Who replaces her?

Wiki says "She apparently survives, even if the Warden did not recruit her from Lothering and she never accompanied the campaign. Whether this is intended, an oversight or a bug remains to be seen." Didn't see a specific mention of killing her during sacred ashes.

Edit (again): Oops, it's the first bit of the DA2 section.. my bad. "If Leliana survived the events of Dragon Age: Origins, she will show up in the finale of Dragon Age II." Doesn't say she doesn't turn up if she's dead though, or anything about bugs.

Someone should kill her and report Posted Image

Well Im eagerly trying to find some consequences of different actions during gameplay and imported games... wasnt very successful yet. Game seems to be quite linear.

I agree that some one should kill her just to see what happens. My guess would be though that if she dies in origins then some nobody will take her place in DA2. But thats just a guess

Isn't there a savegame creator? Is Leliana's fate even one of the flags?

I imported a game where I decapitated leiliana; she somehow grew her head back in da2, or she's an abomination.

Zevran showing up is a bug. Leliana however, will always return as she is integral to the ending and one of Basty's quests.

I killed Leliana and Zevran but they still showed up in DA2. I guess they survived the same weird way as Oghren did... sucks.

It ain't a big surprise to me. Devs decided to throw up your history and rewrite their own.

If things go with what I did, Anders shouldn't be a warden. I hated that guy from the first moment I saw him in Awakenings and served him right to the templars. (Too bad I couldn't kill him like the rest of companions. Awakenings, for me, terrible nightmare released under Dragon Age title. A weak plot where you followed by bunch of zombie companions to cut down dozens more darkspawn).

How... how can you possibly kill Oghren? All you can do is tell him to leave your party... right...?

I'm not talking about dying for the keep. I'm talking about killing him in Origins and him arriving in Awakenings anyway.

I suppose... if he disapproved of you enough, would you duel to the death or something...?

You can kill him in Origins -- get him to 100 hostile, fight him, then kill him.  In Awakening, he says he was knocked out.

As I understand it, Zevran coming back is a bug. Leliana's death where it occurs was retconned.

The designers offer a slightly flexible world, but they don't always respect its integrity.

I'm beginning to wonder if it IS true that Leliana's appearance is a retcon instead of a bug.  I haven't seen confirmation on that either way.  It actually would make sense, since she has even fewer lines than Zevran, that "Sister Nightengale" could be a different NPC entirely if Leliana is dead in Origins.

I'm not saying one way or the other.  I don't know.  I would prefer for her appearance to be part of the import bug, tbh; I like Leliana, but on a cameo as small as hers, I'd rather people's choices in Origins be recognized.
