My X-box just died for the second time, but luckily I just finished building a new PC. From what I read of the console version and the continued standard of business practices at the MS x-box division I think it is time to switch versions. Is there way to import my old saves or generate a new one from a third party program?

Not sure about 3rd party program to generate one from scratch but some folk at dragonagenexus have shared a large collection of their own playthroughs and you can pick one from http://www.dragonage...s/cat.php?id=29 and use that instead. Just create a folder in your documents folder and plonk the save game in there and DA2 should automatically look for it there, eg Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\MyChar\\Saves\\Autosave_1
