Can someone PLEASE remove the dibble shelves/crumb catches from Rogue/Mage Champ Armor?

The more I play this game, the more absolutely hideous that utterly stupid shelf looks jutting out from the front of those armor sets.

I know you already know threads about this exist (one of which I created, because I hate them also) because you've spammed comments in them. Did it really need a new discussion? It's not like the answer has changed in the few days since you were last active in THOSE discussions.
First, I didn't spam anything. Don't be a jerk.
Second, the answer changes a lot more often than you think. A few days is a lifetime in mod time.
Case in point: A few days ago, moding in a weapon swap functionality was "impossible without the toolset." And yet today, we have such a mod thanks to xatmos.
Third, when the time comes that people can edit meshes, modders are going to address the things they feel have a large need. Therefore keeping awareness up that people want these stupid "shelves" removed from the armor is a good thing.
Fourth, what's your problem? So I made a new thread... So what? From your bitterness I can only assume you're mad I made a different thread rather than just bumping yours. Please get over yourself.
Fifth, If you don't like the contents of a thread, ignore it and move on.

Real case in point: Daywalker just posted that we now have tools to export DAII meshs into Max for editing.
Yay!

But...what if someone tries to decaptitate Hawke? Wheres the protection?!
While it doesn't bother me (the armor is quite unique because of it), I suspect that a Mage armed with a good blade staff or a Rogue with the Evasion Talent would have enough protection without it; to each his/her own on the appearance change this would be.

Still, it would be nice to remove it from the mage armor at least. Seems VERY unnecessary for that class. Oh, and the rogue has no shelf. The warrior does.

Man, where do you get the energy to hate these dribble shelves so much?
I was wondering this too. I have nothing against you, Cambios, but your hatred for those little shelves is downright tangible. Were your parents gunned down in a dark alley in front of you by thugs wearing dribble-shelves, and so you've become an anti-neck-guard vigilante?
Although in fairness, those things do look stupid, and I'd happily download this mod, too.

Yes, they were.
So imagine how horrible they are for me. All the more reason some wonderful modder who cares about orphans should release a mod ASAP that removes them. Right?

Just go into savegame and replace with Rogue set. It looks the same minus shelf.

What about my murdered parents?
Sorry, until the shelves are removed from the armor, I'll never have closure!

Dude, think of the sandwiches... roast beef, peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese, BLT. Also you can place a family photo album on it and have a picture of your parents to look at!

Also makes for easy napping while you're riding the train home from work after a long day.

I'd love to see these things gone too, especially from Ser Isaac's Armor -- having one on a rogue's armor just looks really weird and unnecessary. Same for the Champion mage armor. >_>Cambios wrote...

Ser Isaac's dribble shelf is almost a groin protector its so low.
I'm praying that someone out there is working on this.

If someone could edit the meshes to remove them or just place them higher so they'd actually, oh, I don't know, protect Hawke's neck, that would be fantastic.

I don't think they look terrible - it's meant to be neck protection. Then again, most of them are far too low to protect anything, that's what bugs me. Especially on Isaac's armour. It looks more like an art installation than anything practical.

Or just make them a bit shorter, so they don't jutt out as far? They look fine from the front, and if you removed them completely, I think the armor would be lacking something aesthetically. But they are utterly ridiculous from the side.
