Hi, I'm hoping someone can give me some insight on why this problem occurs.
I'm one of those people who currently can't play Dragon age 2 because I recieve the error message "Dragon Age 2 Has Stopped Working" when I hit play. Since I can't play it, I decided to go and replay Dragon Age Origins for a bit.
When I loaded up dragon age origins, the moment I got past the splash screen and the game went to load my computer blue screened and crashed. This is not the first time this has occurred, though I thought it was a fixed issue. I had attributed the problem originally to my graphics card (Radeon HD 5850), and bought a new one. My computer runs other games just fine, it only blue screens when I attempt to load up Dragon age. I'll post the error report below, but I don't really know what it could mean. My comp also made a minidump file but I don't know what use it would be.
Some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If theres anything I forgot let me know, or send me pm's if you are willing to trouble shoot with me.

Does it run in DX9? You can change the video settings from the config tool before loading in to the main game. If it's still giving the same issue in dx9 mode with low settings then I'll follow up in a PM and give you further instructions.
I realize your rig should be able to play very high no problem but certain cards are just not jiving well with certain driver sets.
