We got a Hero and a Champion. What will Orlais have?

Aside from the title of the customizble character I think the promotion of the default hero would be best be a female rogue. Since that's the only class that hasn't been promoted in the DA series. Plus a lot of fans want the default promotion to be on a woman for a change.

Seems the most likely choice, has a title everyone can call you.

Entire game will be a series of quest requiring you to deliver mail to people.

I can see the DA3 forums now. People complaining about having to play someone with a French accent. Endless threads discussing whether or not that constitutes racism. The relative merits of each country in the game compared with their real world equivalents by trolls trying to stir up hatred in the player base. Oh, joy....

The Warden Commander is known to be The Hero of Ferelden. Hawke is known to be The Champion of Kirkwall. With all the hints we've been given, chances are DA3 will take place in Orlais. If we were to have a new customizable protagonist, I wonder what specail name will he/she have. Guardian of Orlais is the only title I can think of that sounds cool.

Depends if my champion of whatever actually has any influence over anything else I'll just go running around in circles again clucking like a chicken and still get made champion or hero.
As for DA3 I would like to see whether others agree or not is my choice who and what my champion is, whether rogue, mage, warrior, female, male, elf, ankle biter or human. Also the ability to become hero on things I choose to do (route I take more specifically and decisions I choose), if I get all of that I may like DA3 and the DA series again regardless of what title I (earn by choice). If it's based in Orlais then the world needs to be reflected in grand scale and high value upper class not just slums 24/7, more open world where each area has its own feel and such both within a city(s) and towns and far outside it.
Ideally a selection or variation in titles depending on route you take through the game is by far the best option for me. On topic wise.

Try saying that out loud with a Orliasian accent with a straight face; I couldn't. xp

lol and you would hear it quite a few times in game
@Alelsa - yet another reason why the PC of DA3 should be a non-voiced silent PC, would solve that issue right off the bat

Thats probably a lot easier in DA3 than the previous games, assuming they are happy with that being the end of the trilogy and don't want to leave it open for importing numerous game decisions into a possible DA4. Obviously that doesn't preclude starting a 2nd trilogy of linked games afterwards.

Ah, Orlais, where even the beggars are dressed in the finest silks, and the sewers run with clean drinking water!

I feel ya, PirateT138. Most people seem to forget that their Grey Warden Hero of Ferelden already was a Champion (of Redcliffe) as declared by Arl Eamon. So in DA2, as in so many other ways, the story is way less epic since the renowned title that you gain was only a stepping stone for the Grey Warden but is the culmination of Hawke's effort.PirateT138 wrote...
It they continue the downward trend of importance we'll have the Slightly-popular-guy-from-high school-of-Orlais next or Bob, the guy who did that one thing that one time that was kinda cool.

Has there been any confirmation that DA3 has been or will be started? (Link, if possible.)
No concrete proof yet, but I'm convinced they're working on it already. I think we'll hear about it about 6 months from now.

If this really is going to be the cap of this particular trilogy, it's going to be something big. Emperor... Divine... God-King...
