 I am in the second act, the mission I am trying to continue is called "All That Remains". I try to go to Lowtown (night), the game will go to the loading screen, but will just never actually load. I wouldnt say it freezes necessarily, as the music plays, the background changes, and the loading circle keeps spinning- it just never loads the game. I've tried everything I can think of aside from starting over from the beginning. Other areas will load fine.

I've seen a couple users suggest that taking off all the items in your inventory before transitioning sometimes alleviates these issues.

do you mean un-equipping armor/weapons etc.? Or do you mean putting everything in storage?

I tried removing all items from each member of my party- did not work.
Tried using a party only containing Hawk- did not work.

This is a super long shot, but since you're specifically having trouble loading data off the DVD as opposed to the game freezing, I'd suggest ejecting the disc and taking a close look at it for scratches, smudges, dust, etc. Even if there's nothing super obvious, try -gently- cleaning it (with a perfectly clean, soft cotton cloth). Again, long shot, but it's something.

I tried cleaning the disc to no avail, I even tried it with a friend's game disc and it didnt work. So it's definitely something with the game itself. 20 hours in and I cant go any further, nice.

For anyone else having this problem (which seems like no-one), I tried doing the steps suggested by EA and it worked. Turned off media streaming, deleted the game info, then reinstalled.

Works well again.

Hopefully that helps anyone else in the same boat.
