Gee thanks for taking away my rune slot and removing my extra Magic, Health and Stamina!  Is this a bug?  After speaking with the Cleric, he changes the look of his gear and magically loses his rune slot.  Even though I had his armor fully upgraded, now I get a garbage version as a replacement?

Sounds like a bug, as it hasn't happened to me on 3 playthroughs.

It "fixed" itself after three reloads.
