I'll be up front: I've long since lost track of how this was relevant to the discussion. WIth no offense intended, I'm not sure what your point about this point is.Schattenkeil wrote...
A life span is not the same as a generation. A generation would be more like the typical age of a mother getting her first child, like 400 years or so in case of an asari. There is the risk of a genetical disorder in children of two asari that doesn't exist when the asari mates with aliens. It's not strictly relevant tha this disorder existed even before. It's like a couple of human cousins - it's not particularly likely that their children has genetic defects, but more likely than with an unrelated couple.
Which is perfectly fine! That's more than good: nothing and no one ever said you couldn't have a perfectly healthy relationship with an Asari.Pleasure is pleasure. It' not strictly relevant what made the asari moaning as far as I am concerned..
The point is that sex with an Asari is going to be sex with an Asari, and not a human woman. With all that it entails, and doesn't entail, which for some people would turn them off.
Nothing's wrong with the belly button. There's just nothing especially right about it either. It's not a pleasure organ, any more than the crook of your knee, your ear, or the other person's hair. What's wrong with licking a belly button? It's obviously most unpleasant to have something stuck in the ear, a primary, most sensitive sense organ, or any sucking at a wound. The amount of mouths and tongues an asari has is the same as with a human being for example.
The nature of inter-species sex, however, is that one person's happy place is another species's nothing-zone. A consequence of differing evolutions.
Well, I'm afraid you're missing it by a mile then.To me it sounds like you want to call everyone pervert who ever did anything but missionary with lights off. Ashes over my head should I ever have kissed anyone, other than into the face.

God yes. I bet they're silky smooth too...
I imagine that having spent her whole life in a suit, her skin is probably silken smooth, having never been exposed to UV rays. This is assuming Quarian skin is more or less equivalent to human skin, of course.

Close second is Liara T'Soni. She's just so cute. All of her stuttering and awkwardness is adorable. I was kinda sad that ME2 gave her a gritty reboot but I stuck with it anyway. Like the new costume for her though. Again I think that she should get real armor for battle and only wear that in the Lair.
Ashley comes in third for me. She can be a little annoying but she's better than Miranda who is not attractive and a ****. The real Miranda is really hot but the thing they made for the game doesn't even begin to compare. Kelly is a dissapointment/**** although all that sexy red hair almost makes up for it. Tali... what does anyone see in her? I do not understand. It just doesn't compute. Samara is kinda a **** and just give everyone the cold shoulder all the time. Kasumi is cool but I never see her face and thats not really cool.
For the guys, Shepard. Shepard is the only guy for me. And Thane. He's amazing.

Jack is where it's at. Either way you slice her (paragon or renegade) it's hot. I have to say that I prefer the biker leathers to just the belts though. I'd prefer she wear nothing on the ship... my Shepards or weird like that but in battle I make everyone wear the closest thing to armor that they can. Going into battle wearing anything less then cutting edge defenses is inviting death. I don't want my sassy girl to lose important bits.

Agreed on Hackett as well. And Garrus. Yes, please.
I don't know if Kenneth counts, but it's that damn accent! I'm a sucker for them.

Think about it:
Human women, no matter where they are from, are built to look for certain things in a mate. I am talking from a Heterosexual woman's perspective, but YMMV.
Women are built to look for:
1. Broad shoulders
2. Narrow waist.
3. Strong muscles
4. Deep voice
5. Ability and willingness to protect her and her children.
6. Ability and willingness to pleasure her.
Now, this is with other factors like personality, wealth and social standing thrown out for the moment.
But when you think about it, Turians fit this bill. Not all, but most.
Drell do as well.
So is it any wonder why so many human women in game and IRL fall head over heels for these characters?
My two cents.

1 - Miranda (come on she is Yvonne and she is HOT)
2 - Ashley Williams (she is rough around the edges but you can imagine having a crazy time with her)
3 - Liara T'Soni (overall cute in a kind of fit but she does not like to admit it)
4 - Matriarch Benezia (her chest simple as)
5 - Kelly Chambers (pretty face, red hair and likes the leather)
Those are my favourite overall but I do feel that Quarians do have good potential but I do the idea of not knowing what they look like under those helmets for all we could know she could look a Krogan underneath that

2 - Samara is pretty damn gorgeous, despite the unpredictable killer bit.
Others - Hmm... Kelly is probably the cutest human, it's a shame about her diseases. The Asari at the Citadel fish store is so nice, it's hard not to include her. The Quarian accused of stealing the credit chit was alright as well.
As for men, well, I'm not attracted to them and have trouble seeing them as attractive, sooo... I'll list them in the awesomeness order:
1 - Wrex. Although, he's retired as the offical King of Awesome, so the new King would be...
2 - Garrus.
Others - Zaeed is the outlaw-James Bond. Grunt is, literally, a beast. The Turian Councilor should get points for antagonizing Shepard so much when he should clearly see that he could pop a cap under his crest if he felt like it. And the Biotic God just glows. Heh heh.
