Ok, so I just disabled a mod I was using and now it refuses to load my save. Now I know i can just go to an earlier save or just reinstall the mod but seriously what happened to the force load option from origins?
You know, the option that would load the save anyhow to see if it would work without the mod/dlc.
Think there's any chance this could be modded back in or is there a way to edit saves?
No longer a force load option?

The only mods that cause saves to balk at loading are those that work as addins. Example:Xatmos's Metagame Abilities.
Backup the troublesome save.das
Download the pygff4 editor
Open up the troublesome save.das with editor.exe, navigate to the addins section and remove the offending addin data within the save game. Save the troublesome save.das.
Now it should load.

My theory on the lack of "Force Load" is that since we can't disable mods in-game anymore, they didn't feel it was needed. I suspect that will change at some point, though.
