As we all know, there have been a few DLC sales now for xbox users where the price of Kasumi, Overlord, and Lairs of the Shadow Broker have all been reduced to 200 points each. That's a pretty massive discount - 63% off for Kasumi and Overlord; 75% off for LotSB.

PC users haven't had any discounts whatsoever though, why? Surely all fans should get access to great sales like that, especially as Bioware takes pains to note that they want to treat all fans across the three platforms equally. For those who want to support sales for PC, PLEASE go and support these threads on the EA forums here and here. It's the best way to try and get EA to listen and get something of a sale.

EDIT: to give everyone a breakdown, these are the promotions that have been available to each platform

All:
- Dr Pepper DLC

Xbox:
- Numerous sales for Kasumi, Overlord, LotSB for 200 points each

PS3:
- All DLC except Arrival for free
- 30 free codes for Arrival given away via Facebook

PC:
- Nothing

PC (Dragon Age 2):
- Mass Effect 2
- Cerberus Network
- Firepower Pack

So as you can see, Bioware actually gives better deals to people who never even purchased the game than they do to those who purchased on PC. All I'm asking for here is equality between the platforms, which Bioware consistently states is what it wants.

Well, XBox users have to pay for XBox live to download the DLC in the first place...

Not that I wouldn't mind a sale.

I'm pretty sure Steam has had some sales. Not sure though. Cue the Steam hate.

Not necessarily. When all the DLC has 200 points each during the XBL holiday sale, anyone could buy it. I know because I have a silver account and bought the Alan Wake DLC on another day of that sale.

Unfortunately, doesn't seem Bioware believes in sales for us PC players. Hope they change their minds soon.

Wow, here we are, suprised that PC users get nothing. What are you going to tell me next? That BioWare bazzar was not avalible outside of United States? Something new please.

Could we go over the absurd point system and denominations that don't divide easily into smaller DLC pack costs, again?

Yeah, I was asking about a sale on Dragon Age DLC (since it was of much lower quality) and never heard anything. Not sure what the problem is, but I guess they just don't care to bother.

Could we do somethign that would make it easier for our customers to buy things and allow them to spend exacly as much money as they wanted? BLASHPEMY!

Actually it was 63% for Kasumi and Overlord, and 75% for LotSB. If you bought all three it would have been a discount of 69% overall.

Bioware - comments please? Do Bioware decide such things or would it be EA?

I'm all for this as well. I've avoided the dlc up to know because I view it as overpriced. On sale though I might just bite.

Same here. DLC sales would not only even things up between xbox and PC users (PS3 users having gotten the DLC for free) but it would also bring in those who have balked at the price thus far.

Would be great to have a sale for sure.

I was just looking into the DLC as of now and it just makes no sense that to get all the worthy stuff, you have to pay roughly $30-$40 in bioware points... Hell it's more than what i paid for my collector edition of the game.

Bioware has put Bioware points on sale numerous times in the past. I would keep your eyes open for this in the future.

Really, when? I'm actually serious as I've never seen them on sale before. EA has had a few promotions where if you buy Bioware points you got 50% off the Dragon Age games, but that's the extent of it.

Looking for Bioware input bump. EA actually suggested this too.

I'm also a little surprised by this.  I've been following BioWare for a long time and I've never heard of this. Is it not publicized at all?

I've held off bying the DLC cause I wanted to wait for the price to go down. Yet here we are, 1 year after ME2 and PC users still haven't gotten a sale

I am bummed that PC hasn't gotten any of the sale. Not even a bulk discount if you buy all the DLC

Will there be a Mass Effect 2 Ultimate Edition for (Xbox 360 and PC) before Mass Effect 3 comes out? I wouldn't mind repurchasing Mass Effect 2 itself...at retail sale price

The last time Bioware points were on sale that I can remember was when Witch Hunt came out. It would be nice to see them go on sale again :D

They're not stupid enough to actually announce that yet.  But my bet is yes.

well, thats what you get for being silly and dealing with a company like microsoft when you could have gotten Playstation3 instead and pay no fee for service.
