Me too. I understand that Bioware has to satisfy it's large crowd (Xbox 360) and it's newcomers( PS3), but I think that the PC community should get a bit of the love too, no?

Indeed, there should be some kind of a sale for the PC version. Afterall, the game itself can be bought now for $20. Why doesn't DLC get a similar price reduction? As it stands right now, you pay more getting all the story DLC than you do getting the standard game. ME2: $20. story DLC: $31 misc. DLC: $10

Well they did show us the love with Dragon Age 2 => Mass Effect 2 free.  Although I would have prefer they gave those of us who already own Mass Effect 2 the option of DLC instead

True appleyum, but that is another slap in the face to those who purchased ME2 on the PC. As you'll see in my modified original post, what this means is that people who have never purchased ME2 get a better deal than those who purchased ME2 on the PC.

Yes but what if don't want Dragon Age 2 yet. If ME2 dlc doesn't have a sale by the time ME3 comes out I will be extremely aggravated.

PC users get no deals? Idk bro I know this one site where they are selling all ME2 DLC for 0$.

I personally got all DLC but I have only paid for Shadow Broker because I felt that it's the only DLC that is actually worth buying.

I would like a DLC discount. After getting ME2 for free from the DA2 deal, I wanted to buy ME1. I waited a few days so I could finish ME2 first and when I went to buy it yesterday, they were doing a 40% discount for the weekend lol, so I got ME1 for $12 instead of $20 :D

Although I currently rage quit on ME1 because the controls for the moko vehicle or whatever its called is abysmal -_-

Yeah, this really sucks. If Bioware has fallen to the point that EA suggests we spam their forums until we get a reply, then I'm not sure if I can support them anymore.

They could also start dropping the price on DLC. It doesn't make any sense that the price of the full game drops over time, but the DLC price is fixed for all eternity.

True noctx, but that's where the profit is made. I noticed in fact that 'Pinnacle Station' for ME1 is still $8. That makes it about $8 too pricey still...

True, it is a bit odd. I got the distinct impression from EA that they just don't want to deal with it, basically make it anyone's problem but theirs.

Still no response? I know it's unlikely, but I'd like some closure.

And people wonder why Rockstar don't release RDR and L.A Noire on the PC. Not cool, my friend.

Still waiting. I find it extremely hard to believe that no-one at Bioware has seen this thread, they simply seem to be choosing to ignore it.

As good idea as this is, suddenly I don't want any deals to come out because I already bought all the DLC on the PC, and I'd feel annoyed if a few weeks later a deal comes out. Not saying it shouldn't either way, but I'd certainly feel like I could have saved.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, especially so soon after the "buy DA2, get ME2 free" deal. I'm willing to bet that the marketing department carefully calculated that giving away ME2 would earn enough through overpriced ME2 DLC sales to not only cover the cost of giving away ME2 for free, but also help recoup losses from all the negative press/poor reception of DA2. Plus if/when they release an ultimate edition of ME2 with all DLCs for a price cheaper than the combined cost of the DLCs, many of those free ME2 recipients will still have reason to buy the ultimate edition.

How about PC's pay $49.95 for ME3 rather than $59.95. That would be good enough for me.

I can understand that, I actually have a friend who purchased the main story DLC for xbox a few days before one of the great '200 points' sales. Unfortunately without advance warning there's just no way to tell, so it becomes a question of - at the current price, is the DLC good value for money? Obviously for you it is, for me it isn't.

I'm not too sure about that to be honest. Yes it would be a good deal, but what if you don't want ME3, just ME2 DLC? Besides as someone else noted, the price of the game will always drop the longer it's been out. Not so for DLC.

Doesn't make him wrong. Not a single DLC has been worth the price it sold for (Except maybe Shadow Broker). That's why me and my buddy only buy the dlc for one game and use each others Social accounts to play it first. Saved me 60 bucks on DA2, and saved him like 50 bucks on ME2 dlc. If they cant make reasonable prices and don't intend on ever making them reasonable, there's simply no reason to pay them.

It does leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I'll bite as soon as we see a PC DLC SALE, not that I like DLC, give me a full expansion anyday, better value than DLC and all the content in one big hit.

As has been mentioned, you would feel aggravated, if we see no sale for PC users by the time ME3 comes out.

Whilst I disagree with the method in question, I can understand the attitude towards it. I mean here we are getting towards three weeks after the first post, and Bioware continues to ignore the thread...

Indeed. I might contact EA again and keep pestering them.
