Maybe that's what Bioware wants us to do? By giving PC users absolutely nothing and then completely ignoring this thread, it seems to indicate to me that they think we should obtain the DLC by other means.

Unfortunately I have to agree. The prices for the DLC is just ridiculous and I'm sure it it a deterrent for most if not all potential buyers.

Still? Wow.

EA, Bio, I know you want to cut down on trade-ins, or at least see some revenue from it, but this isn't the good way. It's not your customers screwing you, it's retailers. Make them cough this up.

And guys, talk of piracy is only going to get this locked.

Err, but yes, DLC sales for PC should happen.

So as you can see, Bioware actually gives better deals to people who never even purchased the game than they do to those who purchased on PC. All I'm asking for here is equality between the platforms, which Bioware consistently states is what it wants.

If your saying the people that got ME2 for free got the Cerberus Network and Firepower Pack. You have been misinformed sir.

they got.

Not true. Cerberus has been confirmed to be part of the promotion, and then shortly after the promotion began, the Firepower Pack was added 'as a bonus from the EA store'. I'd add a screenie but they've now changed the main pic on the EA site.

No. If you can't accept the prices, you should avoid the DLC entirely.

I stand corrected.

Just been and checked and now downloading the cerberus stuff thanks for the heads up :)

jeez, you guys are so indignant. The sales that Sony and Microsoft host are Sony and Microsoft's business. If they choose to put content on sale, that is their prerogative. If Bioware chooses to put Bioware points on sale, that too is their prerogative. Its one thing to make a request thread, but clearly this thread is full of demands and even threats of piracy and other bull****. Stop acting so entitled.

I don't think anyone posting here will pirate it, the fact we are posting here and showing patience for a sale, shows we want to buy and not pirate, but not at the current prices which is ott. I know I haven't thought about pirating at all, would rather just go without.

While I don't like DLC and have given legit reasons in previous posts, I still will buy it at a fair value.

My plan from the start was to complete the game once, then wait for all the DLC to come out and eventually go on sale ( by which time I would have forgotten a lot of the game which is good ), then play it a couple times just before ME3, just waiting for a PC sale and the plan will have succeeded ;)

I'm hoping them make a bundle of DLC missions (Kasumi - Stolen Memory, Shadow Broker, Arrival, & Overlord). The reason why I don't just buy them as is, is that I don't like buying "points". I feel they are infernal devices from the maws of Hell (aka. Marketing Departments), and wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole covered in a 1 inch thick silicon based prophylactic. I would gladly buy this pack through steam, or pick up a copy at a EB Games if I have to.

Why shouldn't we be indignant? Look at the first post and look at the bonuses given. Yes Microsoft and Sony have given good deals, so why shouldn't PC users be able to access them as well?

EA has constantly stated that any sales for PC DLC is the responsibility of Bioware, who have consistently stated that they want to keep things equal between platforms. We're not asking for something that no-one else gets, we're asking for parity.

It looks like the PC community is no longer Bioware's priority Image IPB

I very much you'll get an answer until they decide to put them on sale (if they even decide to do that). Don't get me wrong an answer would be great but as soon as they say oh we have a sale coming, dlc sales will drop until the sale....

True, but an answer doesn't necessarily mean telling us that they'll put the DLC on sale. An answer can be just "thanks for the suggestion, we'll look at it".

I fixed it for you. Fixed it so good that you can now sell it on a BAZZAR.

But really, why is the PC community getting nothing? Sure, we might get slightly better graphics and gameplay, but that doesn't mean anything. The PC community is where Bioware has its roots. Now, with the rise of consoles, it seems that the PC community is doomed to this destiny forever, since companies now concentrate on console users.

And this not only applies for Bioware, but for every gaming company. They should know that the only way to have a happy community is to treat them all equally, and not give bonuses to one simply because there are more people on one platform than on the other.

I wont be buying me3 when it comes out unless there is some kinda massive DLC sale for pc.

Its nuts to charge more for the DLC then the entire game costs now. Heck i just checked EA store and its only $13 for ME2 today. That makes just the 4 mission based DLC cost almost twice as much as the entire game. Seriously....WTF.

Ideally at this point id like to see all ME2 DLC free with the purchase of ME3. Then ill still buy it.

Even at $10 for the 4 mission DLCs thats still a far worse deal then the game costs today. As the game itself has far far more content for only a couple dollars more.

I totally agree with you. If ME2 costs 15$, then the Cerberus network costs just as much if you're getting it used.

ME2= 15 $= 30- 40 hours of gameplay
Story DLC( Kasumi, Overlord, Arrival, Lair of the Shadow Broker)= 30$= 5-6 hours of gameplay

It doesn't make sense. How do you charge more for essential DLC( Kasumi, Overlord, Arrival, Lair of the Shadow Broker) than the actual game?Image IPB

as a recent ME2 owner, I hope there will be a discount on DLC... It just doesn't make sense to charge $30 or so for 3-4 hour content that could have a potential impact in ME3 (maybe), while the full game is easily almost half that price
