I really want Arrival and Shadow Broker but at these prices? It'll cost me as much as the game did...

Sorry to bump a very old thread but has anyone heard of any discounts lately? Maybe something to stir up some attention before ME3 comes out?

Putting ME2 DLC on sale before ME3 comes out would probably be the smart thing for EA/Bioware to do, but I'm not really banking on it. They just don't believe in putting DLC on sale for PC. You're certainly welcome to wait a few more weeks to see if it happens, but I just wouldn't get my hopes up.
That's one of the things I love about games sold on Steam with DLC. It periodically goes on sale. Sadly, thanks to ME3's Origin exclusivity, I expect we'll have to deal with the same crap with ME3.

It seems like there are a lot of people who are saying stuff like "I want to buy the ME2 DLC, but not at that price...", but Bioware/EA don't want to oblige us. I've been nosing around but haven't found any deals. All the sales I've seen on Origin don't work on "virtual currency" like Bioware Points. I really don't get it - why do they put the games on sale but refuse to offer discounts for DLC?

I really don't know... It 's just ridiculous...
I did some looking my self and only found 1 sale for DLC...ever... I just don't understand why they expect us to pay 20$ for some DLC after I bought the game on a sale on Steam for 20$... are the DLC missions really equal in length to 1/3 of the game it self?

I know. It really isn't fair that the DLC costs more than the game. PS3 and Xbox 360 get sales all the time, and we get none. If they were smart, they would put Bioware Points on sale on their site(no Origin) before ME3 comes out. Doubt it's going to happen
