ive decided to make a Ultimate Warrior Run.

i want to edit the Ability Trees for a Unique Warrior

I am keeping,

Shield&Sword
2handed
Vanguard
Templar

i am debating

Assassin
Duelist
Bloodmage
Spirit Healer
Force Mage
Dual Wield
Archery

i want to keep it somewhat in the normalcy and intend to only have the same number of ability/talent trees.

basically i want to be a flurry of exploding death. like no warrior before.

btw this will be the third playthrough and like the past 3 will be very through

If you do that, I think you'll have to switch weapons in order to use certain powers otherwise there will be no animations, nor any effect.

Spells can be launched from any weapon though---it's actually pretty cool to use a 2H sword with a magic spell like Fireball, as the sword swing will simply launch the ball outwards.

yes.. i know about spells and weapons other than staffs

theres a ingame glitched weapon you can use to get that without editing a save. Void's Hammer lacks the 2handed requirement.

that said i dont intend to be using Archery skills with a greatsword lol. i was just debating to make a warrior like in origins. one that can use any weapon type.

on that note.. does no one have any suggestions to put on my warrior? i was hoping for some intresting opinions like reasons to get this tree vs that tree but so far everyone just seems to be ignoring the whole purpose of the topic.

oh btw when using a non staff with mage spells, 5 specific spells lose their cool downs and can be used in a spam fourm like bolester.

Depending on how long it takes for DLC content to hit, I may play around with making a Paladin—a warrior tank supplemented by Templar and Spirit Healer skills. If anyone used to play EverQuest and recalls the Paladin group heals, that's what I'd be aiming for: which would probably require cutting back the healing coefficient on Group Heal as well as shortening its cooldown.

It'd just be for fun, though; I'm fairly sure that combo would be incredibly overpowered. Although I'm not terribly concerned with balance in a single-player game, I still appreciate it when it reinforces a good challenge.

I wonder, how does spell animations look with Daggers or two-handers?

It's just the standard right to left swing with two handers, but a fist pump looking move with rogue weapons.

here's my Arcane Archer to demonstrate the fist pump.

the "fist" pump is acually the first swing of the close range melee strike using a knife you get with all bows. that said its also the fastest strike and has the shortest animation and as a result allows the fastest casts.

daggers just do the basic first attack like 2handers or S&S

i feel i must make my stance clear

Mods and editors i feel are a thing to be used AFTER PLAYING AT LEAST ONCE WITHOUT THEM. as i feel that untill you have played normally at least once you have not truly played at all. Beyond that is entirely up to the owner of the game.

also i have decided to have all basic weapon Trees

as well as spirit healer and templar. to create the paladin idea that appeared here in a previous post. i played as that sort of class in a diffrent game.

also intend to add Blood Mage, Assassin and Duelist. blood mage for the infnite sustained and spells and to resemble the polar oppsite to the paladin in the game i played. Dark Knight. FF11 btw.

i am now however debating which of the following 2 trees from the normal warrior tress to keep..

Battlemaster or Warmonger. these 2 trees are pretty much needed for a tank. but they work diffrently.

Battlemaster is better for close to ally combat and warmonger is better on your own.

EDIT

taking back the adding Assassin and Duelist as well as Bow and Dualwield trees for now.

i want to focus on warrior.

Well, I'd go with this if I'd go for a paladin class. I've based it around a mix of different games paladins.
1.Sword & Shield
2.Vanguard
3.Warmonger
4.Spirit/Defender
5.Creation/Arcane (Buffer if you grab Arcane)
6.Battlemaster
7.Spirit Healer
8.Templar
9.Blood Mage/Force Mage (Sacrificial Paladin if blood mage)
