Hi all! 

We all know how adorable Alistair is (if you don't think so, stop reading now )! To honor his cuteness, I created a Facebook group:

It has links to some fan art, as well as the awesome comics by Aimo (posted on deviantArt). I hope to continue to post stuff about Alistair there!

If we get enough attention, maybe we can get an interview with Alistair himself

I still don't get what people see in Alistair...



His humor sucks

His personality is annoying

He takes nothing serious, and when he does, it always ends with a joke

He looks like a wannabe beachlion blondie <.< He looks like the guys in highschool who thinks they can bed whomever they want.



All in all Alistair sucks.

There hasn't been a character that makes me laugh so hard. The writing is terrific and Steve Valentine did an awesome job. Alistair is a naive child in many ways, having those qualities in a grown man is just adorable.

Not that I want to see any yaoi either, but sooner or later, someone will draw some with DAO's characters. It's the inevitable!

I also wish I knew someone in real life like Alistair!

Oh gods, not the yaoi. How to take a perfectly decent reasonable grown man, albeit some what naive when it comes to the opposite sex, with a brilliantly evil and irrepressable sense of humour and turn him into some drooling weebo's limp wristed boy child. >.<

I have a 3-mage party, Alistair keeps my squishy safe. He can take a beating so he goes in first with Taunt and Threaten, and massive armor, while my mages burn everything down. Works out nicely for me

Oh Darpaek, I just tried out the genderring mod, worked wonderfully Switched to female, get flagged for romance and switch back. Proceed as normal.

Interesting that you brought up the fictional character thing. Personally, fictional characters and celebrities are same to me. We can't interact with them (actually in this sense game characters are more interactive!). They both have crafted personalities (by the media and the writers). We don't really know them. If we were to make a Dragon Age movie, any number of actors can play Alistair, would we be obsessing over the actor, or the character that the actor portraits?
