I didn't have that happen in mine... so either a bug or there is a triigger in there that you can miss.

I'll bet.

Anyhow, if you need further proof you can check the 'Night Terrors' quest on the wiki.

Thanks, The Baconer. Makes as much sense as Cullen telling my apostate Hawke that mages "aren't people like you and me." It's a good thing he never saw Hawke using magic to rescue him from a possessed templar, or I'd consider it poor writing.

I have a character right at that quest so I can just play through.

And if that was a sarcastic I bet... you do realise how buggy quests in this game can be right?  I've hear people get rivalry points from Fenris, Anders, and Merrill routinely despite them supposed to be getting friendship points.

I apologize for the condescending tone.

Anyway, I took some time to test it myself, and I can confirm that the wiki's information is accurate.

*shrug* It is what it is. I'm willing to give her (and all of Hawke's companions) a pass for being tempted in the Fade but I found her willingness to sell Feynriel out disturbing. It's certainly colored my opinion of her, an unfortunate effect on my future playthroughs.

Console or PC?  I am having trouble getting anything other than the rivalry increase before entering the fade.  I get nothing once I am in the fade and making choices... hope my game isn't glitching <_<

Console. Agreeing to kill Feynriel if he goes abomination will net you rivalry points upon entering the Fade.

I knew that one... I am using that as a control.  I am getting no points once I'm in the fade at all... weird.  Maybew one of my mods is ****ing something up.  I have both 360 and PC but am running on the PC at the moment.

I'm wondering why I never got the letter for the quest with those tomes and the demon. Does anyone know?

You only get the letter if you let Idunna the apostitute live (either go to the circle or escape). You can start the quest yourself by examining any of the evil tomes you find.

CRAP! I killed her both times. What tome is it? Can I still get the quest? (My Hawke is still yet to be as controversially evil as Merril lol)

It's still possible to do the quest even if you've killed Idunna. You won't receive the letter but you can still come across the tomes during your travels.

Kabraxak is your rivalry with Merrill maxed once you got that +10 rivalry from Merrill upon entering the fade? Once it is maxed either way it locks, and you won't see it move either way anymore.
