i just recently finished KotOR and plan to start again on Jade Empire tomorrow. it will pass the time until the ME3 demo comes out.

Ah good old JE. Great game. One of my favourite companions of all time, Black Whirlwind. His personal story was so awesome, hell every characters story was awesome, but his in particular was very sad. I'll probably do another playthrough once this semester ends

I have such a soft spot for this game. I played through it last year. Amazing how it actually still holds up after so many years and improvements

I actually just finished it yesterday as part of my mourning BioWare's death (to me) by celebrating their life.
I must admit I always treated Jade Empire very shabby compared to other BioWare games. even though I really don't know why that is because just the atmosphere of this game alone is already simply breathtaking. And what I really like is that of all the evil things you can do in any other BioWare game it is only Jade Empire that makes me feel really dastardly. I mean binding the dead as well as the living to your will, seducing your lover into following your dark path and dooming the spirit of a god to gain godlike power yourself (not to forget kicking puppies), that's what I'm talking about.

Storywise that's a good point. One can be close to evil in Jade Empire, but one thing that did bug me was that one decision in the game trumps all other decisions you've made.

I had the Limited Edition pre-ordered when it first came out. I loved it! It still is one of my favorite games, definitely in my top 10.
I am holding off on playing ME3 again since I hate the ending, hopefully the free dlc this summer will make another playthrough more tolerable. So Now I am replaying through some of my favorites. I just finished a DA2 run last week. Now I am currently doing a CF run of Jade Empire, already in Imperial City.

I have yet to finish this game, for one reason or another. Computer dying, forced reformat from a virus, and so on and so forth. This time, however, I'm trying again on a brand new PC. Hopefully I can finish this bad boy before something ELSE happens...

I have not played the game very recently, discovered some of my friends hadn't experianced Jade Empire. I have been fixing that! I'll be startin a new playthrough when I get it back.

It's a good enough game that I keep it installed in case I want to play it, but I haven't played it for some time.

Though I didn't play it when it was first released. I picked it up about a year later.

Thank God someone had the smarts to make Jade Empire backward capable.It's not one of my favorite games,it is my favorite game! I've played though the game with every character.

Still has one of the best storylines(what Bioware used to be good at).It may look dated but it's still not that bad

Wish Bioware would make a Jade Empire 2 but don't think that's going to happen.A shame really..

Jade master mode?? Wow, that sounds really cool. Are you playing on the pc? I only have the xbox version, and I think the highest difficulty they have is Grandmaster. It would be nice to try out jade master mode though, because well, who's not up for a challange lol

I have both versions, though Jade Master is only available on PC. It was added for the PC version when people complained that Grandmaster wasn't difficult enough. Some of the fights (e.g. Ravager, Pit of Pain  or the three copies of yourself at Dirge) are quite brutal.
