Elves in DA2 are better than in DAO in my books being different and all but that difference tend to move them into a bit aliean side with some of the elves. And elves are supposed to be much more good looking than humans. Fine line there.

Well, the elves in DA2 most certainly aren't "just good looking humans" anymore, they definitely succeeded in that.
